"Brad, I'm going for a walk." I call over my shoulder, grabbing my shoulder bag that had an apple and a water bottle in case I got hungry.

"Wait Daisy." I hear Brad's voice from behind me, causing me to turn around

His face was serious, lips in a thin line, and his hair pushed back as usual.

"I don't want you going outside alone." Brad tells me

I furrow my eyebrows "I was just going into town Brad."

"To do what?"

I shrug "Shopping, I don't know. I was hoping to draw."

He sighs "Daisy.."

"Brad it's fine really," I interrupt him "I won't do anything stupid I promise."

He rakes a hand through his dirty blonde hair and looks at me for a couple seconds and then sighs deeply

"Okay, fine."

I smile and kiss his cheek "I'll be back in an hour."

He grabs my waist, pulling me back to him

"If anything ever happened to you, you know I couldn't live with myself right?" His voice is raspy, making chills run up my spine

I smile at his cuteness "I promise I won't do anything I'm not supposed to do." I talk to him like he's my father

"Only an hour." He warns

I nod quickly and walk out

I run to Brad's red Bugatti and the driver opens the door for me and I tell him where I would like to go

After a couple of minutes, we arrive in Berlin

I get out and thank the driver who tells me that he'll be right there when I am ready to go

I walk down the huge street, people smiling and talking to each other about politics and their children

Many men smile at me as I walk, I look down avoiding their eye contact. They weren't friendly smiles.

I open the door to this cute little cafe

"Good morning." A woman with red hair smiles at me

"Morning, can I have a small mocha latte and a blueberry muffin?" I smile back at her

She nods and writes my order on her notepad and gives it to the other barista

"You're not from here." The woman looks at me, with her British accent (AN/ YES I KNOW THEY ARE IN GERMANY BUT IMAGINE EVERYONE HAVING A BRITISH ACCENT, EXCEPT DAISY OF COURSE)

I smile and tuck a piece of my hair behind my ear "No, I'm from New York."

She looks at me in astonishment "Wow, that's quite amazing."

The guy hands her my order and I pay her

I nod and thank her and walk out of the cafe

I sip on my latte and watch as little children swift past me and dash across the street

I hear a woman scream, so I turn to where the it's coming from

Three Nazi soldiers hold her at gun point, kicking her to the ground

I drop my food and drink and make my way over to the commotion..
