We finally stop kissing as Brad holds me in his arms, my feet above the ground and my arms wrapped around his neck

We've been kissing for about three minutes, not taking a break or anything. If I pulled away to take a breath, Brad would kiss my neck or head until I've collected myself to kiss him again.

It was almost midnight and Brad and I were still swimming in the cool waters. I saw colorful fish, even a starfish, and have collected gorgeous seashells that I will later put in my room.

It's so peaceful and serene. I could live here if I could.

"Darling, the driver is here for us." Brad kisses my shoulder

I nod slowly, and get up. I was so tired from all the running and swimming that I did today. But I enjoyed every second of it.

Brad saw my tired face, picked me up with one arm and carried our bags in the other

"Brad, you don't have to carry me." I yawn into his chest

He chuckles "I think I do."

We arrive at Brad's mansion at about one thirty am, my eyes drooping with lassitude. I could barely speak.

Bread orders a solider to carry our bags, and lifts me bridal style into his house

I am placed on Brad's bed, he undressed me so gently I could barley feel anything. He places my silk pajamas over my head, then tucks me in

"I'll be back soon, I've been called down for a meeting." He kisses my forehead

I nod "Mhm."

I drift off the sleep as I hear the door shut

**

I wake up at eleven am the next morning, Brad was away for the morning somewhere for work, I didn't ask and I didn't want to find out.

Meri forces me to eat my breakfast and brushes my hair for me, as my mother did back at home.

"How is New York?" Meri asks as she parts my hair into two equal parts

I smile at the thought "Oh Meri, it's the most magical place ever. It's a place full of opportunities."

"The city itself is so breathtaking," I start "Anyone can make it there. Have you ever gone?"

Meri shakes her head sadly "I have never left Germany, never will."

I sigh as she braids one side of my hair and into the other section to make a royal braid, it looked like a crown.

"Don't say that, life is full of unknown surprises."

"For some, yes. Not for me." Meri finishes my braid

"Why do you say that?" I pout at her

She shrugs her shoulders "I just don't think I'll make it that very far."

**

Brad meets me in the dining room for lunch

I take Meri's BLT into two hands as I watch the bacon and melted cheese slide out of the two large slices of toasted bread

I sigh as I take a bite of my baconless sandwich

Brad walks in and kisses the top of my head and takes his seat next to me"

He smiles at me "How are you today darling?"

"Good." I manage to say as my mouth was full of food

He chuckles and brings his index finger and slides it over the corner of my mouth, taking the food off of my mouth and places it in his mouth

I almost sigh, the littlest things he does turns me on, and it shouldn't be this way.

I try to hide my blushing by asking "How was your day?"

He grins at me, already knowing about my blushing "It was fine, better now."

I smile and drink my lemonade, rolling my eyes internally for not saying something sweet back
