S.2 - 39

Wu's POV

I waited for my brothers return. I was hopeful for some good news.

My students stayed till dark before they went to Ninjago.

Lloyd told his brothers all about the realm of Oni and Dragon. It made me miss that realm.

But what really bothered me was the thought of the dragons....how where they handling this....control.

I was more or less worrying about First Born. What would happen if she was to be infected by the plant.

After a few more failed meditation I heard large wing beats.

These were not like my students elemental dragons. This one was more real.

I stood up and walked to my window. Outside was a large smoke dragon. It's dark gray wings covering the length of the training yard.

Garmadon slid off it back. He patted its neck before running inside.

A few moments later he entered my meditation room.

"We have everything we need brother." He said tossing me a scroll.

I opened it. Inside was the Cobra Lily as if it was now three years advanced.

He walked up to me. "This is the antidote but it only works when the dragon is affected." He said handing be a green vile.

In the vile was a light green liquid that seamed to be giving off a light smoke that dyed the vile.

It was small but was filled almost full. "A dragon just needs a drop. Borg stated the best place would be the mouth or eye but just to get it in the blood stream would work." Garmadon stated.

"And if more is added then a drop?" I asked. He shrugged. "I suspect nothing but he also stated that the fumes work just as well...and the fumes don't run out as fast." He said taking the vile back.

"Hopefully Kai and Talon will be able to retrieve this. At least we should be able to get it to Faith and First Born." I said

He nodded. "We should start contacting them now." He said going to a shelf to pull out some traveller's tea.

I moved to the tea pot and filled it with some water. Garmadon started a burner and we started boiling the tea.

We waited for it to boil as we packed the scroll and vile into a bag. The scroll slightly popped out.

Garmadon placed the vile into a black box before placing it into the bag.

Finally the tea pot started to hiss and I took it off the burner.

We moved to the middle and Garmadon moved my smoke sticks out of the way.

I waited for the tea to cool just a bit before I moved my hand to splash it on the ground.

Before I did so another portal opened before us. Garmadon grabbed the tea pot out of my hands and placed it on the ground.

The portal moved into an image. This image was of a large room.

"Kai I think it worked!" A voice said from the other side.

Kai then moved into the image and he smiled. "Yes it did Talon come on!" He said.

We waited till Talon was also in view.

"Kai! Talon! Have you found anything there?" I asked.

"Actually yes! They are keeping the dragons that are "affected" in a sanctuary." Kai started. "But before they entered the building they are sprayed by this....these fumes that cancels out the plants affect." Talon finished.

I looked at Garmadon as he looked down at the small vile.

"By any chance are the fumes a pale green colour?" Garmadon asked.

The two started at each other for a second. "Yes....how did you know?" Kai asked.

Garmadon passed the vile down to them.

Talon took it from Kai and opened it. She moved the fumes to her nose and smelt them.

She nodded and handed it back to Kai. "That is the same stuff." She said.

"So...not only do we have the antidote....but they do too." I said stroking my beard.

"Why?" Garmadon questioned himself. "We think we know." Talon said.

We turned to the two them them. "The dragons are kept in a very large sanctuary...they aren't under control and there equipment is completely removed." Kai started.

"But we think they are doing this for a reason." Talon said taking a breath.

"You think they're doing it so that if the dragons are "cured" in sense-" "The dragons still trust them.." Garmadon finished for her.

She nodded. "Our best bet is to go in there as our dragons and really convince the dragons what's actually going on."

I thought for a moment. "Are you sure there controlling dragons for war?" I questioned them.

Kai's POV

I was shocked when Wu said that. "Why else would they even control them in the first place?" I questioned him.

"They know dragons can work well with humans without control." Talon said. I could see Garmadon went a bit tense.

"I don't mean it in that way." Wu started. "I believe he means what if there doing it...for others." Garmadon corrected him.

Wu nodded. "Your thinking that maybe he's doing it...to sell them?" I questioned. He nodded.

Talon hit my shoulder. "Think about it. He could sell dragons to all realms and you wouldn't even need a bond. The dragons-" "Would already be under control..THATS GENEUS!" I finished with a slight shout.

"SHUT!" She reminded me and I smiled nervously. "Sorry right...so now we have two different things to worry about...wether he's preparing dragons for war or profit-" "Or both." Talon reminded me. I nodded.

"We still have to stop him." I finished. Wu nodded. Garmadon passed us down a bag with a few scrolls.

"Try your best to stop him." He said. "I've already told Faith if we're not heard from in 2 weeks to get the ninja involved." I said.

Wu rose an eyebrow but didn't comment. "We will do our best here....but if he is able to re gain control after the dragons have been sprayed...then I believe he needs to be stoped rather then the dragons." Garmadon stated.

We nodded. "This is a big mission Kai...you cannot fail...and your-" "your brothers can't bail me out I know." I finished for him.

He smiled a small smile. "Oh do you have any more travellers tea leafs?" I asked him.

Garmadon passed down a small bag. Talon used her fire and hooked it onto her jacket. "If anything gose wrong will try to call you." Talon said.

They nodded as the portal started to close. "Good luck my student." Wu bowed.

We nodded as the portal fully closed.

"Let's hope nothing goes wrong."

Yes!!! Sorry this was another filler chapter I promise where getting out of here soon.

And yes I still kinda have no clue what the "real" dragon master is going to do with the dragons...so where both gunna find out lol.
