Talon's POV

I stood up and shook the dirt of my body. I then took a large sneeze and sat back down.

"WATCH IT!" I heard something shout.

I stood up and turned around. Under my tail was someone dressed in green.

"You alright Talon?" Kai came up beside he then looked down at the figure who gave a sad smile. Kai growled and hissed before turning away.

"Wait Kai." I said as I slowly sauntered over to the sitting black dragon.

"I thought he'd listen." He hissed. "Now we have to worry about him." "We don't....he came here on his own." I said turning my head to the now standing figure behind us.

"You know he'll tag along anyway." Kai said standing up.

I started with him as we started to walk. "There's a town of people I know here....where going there." Kai said.

"Faith and First born should be able to take him back." He hissed at Lloyds existence.

"Then that's our plan." I said rubbing my head on his neck.

He closed his eyes for a second and sighed.

"Let's just hope he decides to stick around till then." He said with a low rumble.

We walked for a while. I knew Kai didn't want Lloyd to be there but we couldn't just fly off. Well Kai and I could because of our invisibility. But Lloyd would stand out.

Finally we reached a watering hole and Kai and I reached our necks down to drink. The water was a bit murky but we didn't care. There was a couple of trees but other then that no life.

Lloyd bent down beside me and cupped his hands together to scoop some water.

He moved his hands to his mouth and immediately spit out the water. "This is disgusting." I heard him mumbled.

I rolled my eyes and rose my head. My ears picked up a sound. It sounded like something large was moving under the sand.

Kai brought up his head as well. "What is it?" He asked. "Do you hear that?" I said angling my head to hear better.

He did the same. "Yes.." we then looked at each other.

The sound suddenly stoped. "AIR!" Kai shouted we both got into the air but Lloyd didn't get the memo.

A large black and blue dragon came out of the sand and did a dolphin dive. I quickly dove down and did a barrel roll under the large black and blue scales.

I grabbed Lloyd and flapped my wings. The dragon had sliced my left wing.

I hissed as I flew up to Kai.

"Are you alright?" He asked my staring at my wing.

"Yes I'm fine." I said we then looked down at Lloyd who was still looking down at the dragon.

"Uh thanks.." He said staring up at us now.

"Your welcome now form you dragon...we're flying from now on." I said.

He nodded and I dropped him. He was able to form his dragon and we started off again.

"Why did you...risk your life form me." Lloyd asked after a few moments.

Kai rolled his eyes and flapped ahead of us a bit.

"Because...I can...I guess." I mumbled the last part.

"But your..." "I'm not a murderer as much as you think I am...I'm simply saving my people." I said with a small hiss. I then flew up to Kai.

"I see why your irritated by him." I grumbled. "He's not always bad...I mean he's irritating now but before you came...he was much more tolerable." Kai explained.

"There's the village." Kai said looking ahead. I could see a small gathering of buildings. We dove down and landed on the sand again.

"We go on foot from here." He explained as he started forward.

Lloyd didn't question as we started he did stay on his dragon though.

It was kinda weird. He was on a dragon made of his element and yet it was almost like the dragon was real but in his mind.

It didn't take long again before we could see the real town or city.

Kai transformed and I followed. "Talon and I are going into the city to grab some clothes..stay here till then." Kai told Lloyd and before he could protest Kai went invisible.

I did the same.

We started into the city. It was kinda crowded. There where little huts of people. There where a few dragons helping with moving supplies.

The people here where white as ghosts with orange markings. Some had metal limbs and others where flying around.

I was in awe for a little to long and I think Kai got ahead of me.

"This is so cool." I whispered. "I guess you've never been." He said. I could hear the smile in his voice.

We walked up to a clothing dealer and grabbed a few clothes.

We then went behind a hut and threw them on. We became visible and pulled up the mask.

We then started back out for Lloyd. "Did you hear? The Dragons Masters coming tomorrow." I heard someone say.

I grabbed Kai's arm and we stoped to listen. "We have no new dragons to give him." The other one said. The first one shrugged.

"We'll have a trial tonight and pick someone's dragon." The second one said. "Alright Faith." The second one said.

Kai seamed to recognize that name and started for the Faith.

"Faith?" He asked quietly to the figure. "Who are you?" She asked turning to us.

"It's me Kai." Kai said. Her eyes went wide. "Where's Lloyd. Wu sent me a message telling me Lloyd needed to be sent back." She spoke.

Kai nodded. "He's hiding on the outside of the city. I didn't know if you'd be here." He said.

"You just have to say take me to Faith and anyone would." She said. Kai nodded.

"My hut is that one over there." She said pointing to a small hut.

"We'll bring Lloyd in." Kai said. Faith then cocked her head at me.

"Talon." I said holding out my hand.

"I see why." She said taking my clawed hand.

"Alright we'll be back." Kai said. We said good bye and started for Lloyd.
