Chap 7 Seed of mistrust

Advitya looking intently to the face he loved the most. His wife is sleeping peacefully. He couldn't sleep after today's incident. He could have lost her forever. He breathed heavily with the thought and got off from the bed . He gulped the water and lead his way to the balcony, but not before glancing his wife. He settled himself on chair.

Cool breeze and his deep thoughts are his constant companion nowadays. He was in great dilemma. He is dealing with inner turmoil. But Adhya! Can she betray him. No! He closed his eyes in irritation.
He remembers his conversation with Neelakshi. He can trust her. He might have rejected her feelings towards him but one thing he was sure about, she can never betray him. The person whom he can trust to find out real culprit is her only.

He never met her after mall incident when she misbehaved with His Wife.  She left Dubai and got posted in another department.

Neelakshi was trained with him during initial days of posting. Advitya and Neelakshi have improvised their technique of spying. It was always a secret between them. One day they decided that they will keep an emergency satellite mobile with their numbers in it. In case if they lost their mobile or got attacked by enemy, they can reach this secret place and could contact the other person for help. This is how he contacted her after all those year.

When he contacted her , she was surprised. He could feel she cried while talking to him. When he told her about the someone from RAA betrayed him , she could not believe. Then she got ready to help him. He asked her about Adhya. She said she was posted in Syria for almost 4 years. She was unaware about her. Although she got the news of his death. When she asked who could betray him! He remained mum. Then he utter those words. "Can you find out what Adhya did all those years"? He is guilty for asking about his wife with other person. How can he think his wife can betray her. Actually He wanted to ask he want to know what Adhya had gone through. Neelakshi was surprised.
But she said she is returning to India after successful mission in Syria. She said she will provide him all the necessary information. Then she said "i told you Advitya she will ruin you." That made him fisted Although he swallowed his anger.

It's not that he don't believe her, he is alive because of her. But what bothering him is Adhya's hesitation . He is sure she is hiding something..
He wiped his tears.

"Advit are you okay?"

He turned around to see his wife is standing near the door.

He walked towards her and kissed her forehead.

"I couldn't sleep". He replied

She frowned in worry.

"Let's go inside. It's cold outside." He said

Then they settled themselves on bed. Adhya snuggles close to his chest. He embraced her in protective grip. He kissed her forehead.

"Sleep Aadi". She said.

He hummed in response.
Then both drifted into deep slumber

Adhya POV

I got up from the bed without disturbing Advitya. I did my morning chores and took bath. I know he was guilty for yesterday's incident. I hope Advitya start believing again. I came out of my trance and closed the burner. I pour the coffee in mug and lead my way to the bedroom.

As i opened the door i heard a little whimper.
"Aadi!"
He saw me. And faintly smiled. He has taken bath and is now sitting on a chair, doing some ankle movements.

"What happened . Are you hurt" ? I asked

"Yaa my ankle. Its paining". He said.

I place the coffee mug on table.
And sat  on the ground near his chair.
"Show me"! I said.
