Today was just like any other day, the delecate, gentle wind peacefully brushed past the sails of the Destinies Bounty making its way down to the deck where the ninja were training. The sun beat down just enough to warm the team, but not quite enough to burn them, no clouds could be seen and no rain could be felt. Today was just right, perfect if you would.
However one elemental had to disagree; Cole, master of earth hid away from his team in the bunk room. Something was bugging him...
The black ninja was reading? Cole often left the reading and mathematics to Zane or Nya, but today was now different. He lay sprawled across the floor on his stomach, carefully flipping the pages of some ancient book while others just like that sat in a neat pile next to him waiting to be studied. You see, the master of earth had seen a text on a fire elemental in the museum, stating that they should also be a sworn protector of the green ninja. But the team had assumed from the illustration on the scroll they saw that the missing protector was Nya... but now Cole wasn't so sure. He reasoned that if there was really a master of fire then why hadn't they shown up to Chens tournament of elements? And how could Chens spell of worked without them? These were the sorts of questions he needed answered by these books but alas the last record of a fire elemental was Ray, Nyas father. And as far as Cole new Nya didn't have a brother... So maybe there isn't a fire elemental, maybe the prophecy was wrong about a fire one, instead water took its place? But no that couldn't be true, every prophecy about ninjago has turned out to be true so how, why could this one be wrong?

The boy sat puzzled in his own little bubble of thought before he was pulled into afternoon training, leaving this whole whirlwind of questions to be forgotten for another day
