The Fire Ninja? (Ninjago Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

The teams slumber was starkly interrupted by a new mission alert, Zane being the first - and least complacent- to wake, made his way to the bridge before yelling for the others to join him. One by one the brightly coloured ninja dressed and made there was to the bridge, Jay rubbing his bag ridden eyes and lloyd taking a long yawn before even attempting to look at the intensely lit screen. "there's been an attack at the Royal Palace, a biker gang calling themselves the sons of garmadon? Pixal do we have any Intel on this group" the ice ninja questioned in a rather urgent tone while equipping his belt with shurikens. "the sons of garmadon are a gang of dangerous bikers who praise, even worship Lord garmadon.. But not the one that we last saw. They worship his evil side and wish to bring him back" Pixal recited. "the mission report states bombs have been set off and fire have been started, police are yet to determine their motive but would appreciate you on the scene ASAP"
"we're on it pix" Lloyd replied, also readying himself for battle.

-time skip to when they arrive-

The gang seemed to be lead by a pasty skinned "crazy girl" called Ultra Violet, she wore a purple helmet, ponytail sticking abruptly out the top-paired with a purple bandana around her neck-to match the oni ma's of hatred- Between the two purple adornments her face sat, ridden with black and white face paint that certainly didn't pull away from the "crazy girl"ness of her. She was expected aswell as Mr E, an android similar to Zane - except he couldn't talk as his voice box was broken a long while back. He wore mostly black clothes with red accents splashing across his suit as if to symbolise blood and detah itself mathcibg the oni mask of vengeance , he always wore a black helmet with a red visor to "hide" the fact he wasn't human. And then finally there's kilo, aka "the big man" he was the strongest out of the leaders and decided who as in or out of the gang. Wearing a black leather jacket with orange decals, he matched the mask of deception ( ofcourse our heroes didn't know that yet). But other than these three the bikers seemed to be low level thugs, all wearing regular biker gear adorned with blue, pinky and white decals centering around their signiture garmadon "logo". The ninja team weren't alerted to anyone else at the scene.

The fight was lengthy and grueling, leaving the team in a state. Eventually thought, the thugs were called for a retreat - something about the fight not being worth it". The ninja were too injured to chase after any of the delinquent bikers, most of them drained of energy and therefore there elemental powers being weakened. Jay sat in the Palace steps rubbing his upper arm where he got struck by a sword while Cole and Zane lay in pure exaughtsion- not caring enough to tend for there wounds.  Well that was untill a large explosion was set of down one of the many alleyways the gang used to escape  "huh what was that?" Lloyd jumped to his feat, leaping of the steps and running straight towards the area. "SHOULDN'T WE BE RUNNING AWAY FROM HUGE EXPLOISONS?!?"  Jay yelled after Lloyd whilst runn/jogging to catch up with him, the others in hot pursuit.

But as soon as they arrived at the alleyway the noticed a black figure, laid on the ground seemingly unconscious. They wore a traditional black gi (similar to the ones Cole, Jay and Zane wore before they got their colours), covered in soot and Ash - a couple tears in their suit revealung burn marks from the explosion.  Zane rapidly ran a scanning to try and identify the suspect and Nya was by their side, gently tugging off the mask wanting to assess their breathing properly. Zanes scans were inconclusive, the suspect wasn't in Ninjago's database at all, so who were they?
