Kai felt something heavy and cold be placed onto his wrist, and he felt the burning sensation in his hands quickly fade to nothing. He opened his eyes and quickly pulled his arm back to examine his wrist and the strange bracelet that had been placed on it. It was a black metal, laced with streaks of gold and it was fastened to his wrist with a lock. "what is this?" he almost whispered to himself, pure shock covering his face. Cole crouched down next to him, gently taking his hand and cupping it with his own "it's vengestone, it cancels out elemental powers, don't worry its not permanent and we'll take it off the second we think its safe. Is that ok bud?"
Kai nodded softly as he allowed the strangers to help him back onto the bed and re-attach the various medical equipment. His breathing slowed and he took a minute to compose himself. Looking round, he noticed it was only the earth ninja, the nindroid and himself left in the room. The two were muttering something that the fire elemental couldn't quite catch, however he could see the concerned looks they gave and the sighs of confusion that escaped their mouths. That's when it hit him. They didn't know. That lying, backstabbing, cold-hearted Sensie hadn't told them.
Oh boy did Kai have a story for them.
A/N:I'm sorrryyy I'm leaving this on another cliffhanger because this is a kind of filler chapter and I'm sorry it's also really short but i promise you the next chapter will be longer and might not end on a cliffhanger :) love youuu
