The Fire Ninja? (Ninjago Fanfiction)

Chapter 5

"so Kai, can you explain what happened between you and Sensie Wu for us?" Zane questioned gently, trying not to trigger the still rather mysterious boy in anyway Shape or form.

"uhm yeah, yeah I can do that." Kais' words were welcomed with warm smiles of reassurance. "so...

(this next part is the story that kai tells to the others, from his own point of view)

I was very young, my parents were good friends with Wu and I assume they still are. They didn't seem very remorseful when they left me. At the time they were training me to become the elemental master of fire, and I was very good, amazing even at controlling my power. I could take down Sensie in a matter of seconds but this seemed to scare him.

One day The Sons Of Garmadon came along, said something about Wu making a deal. Killow and UV were there and before I knew it they took my hand and moved me towards a car. I screamed and cried. No one came to save me, not my mother, my father or Sensie Wu. They just watched as I was taken away.

I got there and they explained they had bought me and I was one of them now. I grew to be comfortable with them, taught to hate people like you and to take what I want when I want it.

"oh my god." The earth elemental spoke out of shock "sensie SOLD you?? To THE Sons Of Garmadon??" He paced the medbay, a flood of anger and shock waving over him. So many questions that were still left unanswered and so many new questions being asked.

"I believe that is what Kai is saying" Zane looked to Kai who just nodded in response. "I believe we need to have a word with the others Cole."

"mhm, yeah I'll go get them, you stay here with Kai yeah? And don't let Wu near him." Cole spoke with determination as he stormed out of the room

Now this was devistating news to the Earth Ninja, i mean he had placed so much undeserved trust into his sensie, his master. Now that had all shattered and he didn't know who to trust, for God's sake are The Sons Of Garmadon even the bad ones here? Did Kai get saved from some weird brainwashing that the current ninja team fell to? No. He couldn't let himself waver, he was going to get the others and they were going to talk it out rationally. Its no use spiralling into strange theories of brainwashing and kidnapping, they will sort this out.
