"I want to show you something"

"Meet me in the observatory at midnight" -S
Was written beautifully across a small piece of parchment I found in a pocket in my dress. The stunning blue and pink iridescent sparkly fabric just barley grazed the ground and I stood in my black bedazzled heels.

"You look stunning" gasped Pansy in a whisper.
I turn to look at her in her floor length Forrest green mermaid style dress. Perfectly constructed as if it was made for her exactly.

"You look perfect Pans!" I exclaimed as I walk over to her grabbing her hands.

Emily walks out of the bathroom in a jaw dropping , full length, black ball gown covered in glitter. The heart shape bodice complimented her figure perfectly.

"God Em! Making me look like a toad!" I exclaimed as we stood in a circle our hands entwined with one another.

The happy squeals filled the stone room.

We accessorize and head down to the common room, "where are the boys?" I questioned.

"They left for the ball.. they will meet you there" a house elf says as he snaps his fingers disappearing.

"They give me the creeps.." Pansy grimaced.

"Pans.. doesn't your family have house elves?" Em asked and we all laughed.

"Let's go!" I say pulling them.

We walk to the staircase leading down to the great hall and stood at the top.

Looking down at our dates dresses in their nicest dress robes, we decent one at a time and our dates grabbed our hands and lead us away.

Pansy descent first to Draco. Then Emily to Blaise, and I to Matteo.

"You look... stunning Sirena" Matteo said amazed.

Draco grimaced as he pulled Pansy away.

We all entered the great hall together, the sound of beautiful piano music filled the great hall.

The walls of the Hall had all been covered in sparkling silver frost, with hundreds of garlands of mistletoe and ivy crossing the starry black ceiling.

The House tables had vanished; instead, there were about a hundred smaller, lantern-lit ones, each seating about a dozen people.

Everyone gathered around the ballroom leaving the dance floor open for the champions and their dates.

Once everyone else was settled in the Hall, Professor McGonagall told the champions and their partners to get in line in pairs and to follow her.

They did so, and everyone in the Great Hall applauded as they entered and started walking up toward a large round table at the top of the Hall, where the judges were sitting.

Harry walked onto the brightly lit dance floor, carefully avoiding catching anyone's eye

"I can't wait to see potter fall on his face." Draco snickered with Blaise and Matteo.

"Poor Parvati" laughed Pansy.

"Hope her toes will fair" I added laughing.

Neville and Ginny took to the floor as well as Dumbledore and Madame Maxine. Matteo pulls me to the floor, and we all lined up to being the waltz.

The music began to play as we bowed and began the waltz Severus had taught us.

"You are a marvelous dancer, Sirena." Matteo said with a flirtatious smile.

"You're not so bad yourself, Matteo" I smiled back. Severus had his eyes to the floor and had a grimacing look on his face.

"Was there someone who you'd rather be here with.. a certain professor perhaps?" Matteo leaned over and whispered.

"What?? I don't know what you're talking about, I'm here with you?" I tried to cover.

"You have been looking at him for the past five minutes and he has only looked up and met your gaze once and then back to the floor." Matteo said.

We bowed once more, "don't worry Siri, I'll be your cover."

"Why?" I asked curiously.

"I'm a sucker for love" he winked.

He kissed my hand and lead me back to the table with the others.

"Isn't it so beautiful? The trees! The lights!" Exclaimed Pansy.

"Stunning" I replied with a smile.

I turn to see Sev and saw him leave the room.

At least 20 minutes have gone by since he left and I was starting to get worried. Just then, the grandfather clock chimes, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11- and 12

"Oh I have to go. I'll see you guys in the morning.!" I say to try to leave without suspicion.

"Yea we have a special night planned" Matteo winked at the group.

"Ew we didn't need to know that." Draco said disgruntled.

"Oh leave them alone Draco. It's cute" Pansy replied.

Matteo escorted me out down the hall and said, "go see your beaux beautiful, before I take you away myself." With a wink and he kissed my forehead.

I lifted my dress and ran down the hall. I imagined it looked as graceful as a movie as the skirt of my ballgown flowing around me like a strong current on a river.

The candlelight bounced off the glitter in my dress like the moonlight to the water.

I ran up to the Astronomy tower and ... He was there.

His dress robes moved gently in the night breeze , "you're late" he said playfully

"You jest. I'm not that late my love" I argued back walking towards him.

"You... are.. breathtaking.. Sirena.. truly" he bowed and held out his hand, "may I have this dance?"

"There isn't any music."

Sev pulled out his wand and charmed a harp and violin to play. "I will be honored" I replied taking his hand.

Our eyes never dropped from one another as we began the dance.

"You.. really are.. the most beautiful creature.. I've ever seen or have... had the privilege.. to have met." His eyes full of love.

"You make me blush, Sevy.. I've never felt this way about anyone..."

For the third turn, he lifts me by my waist and spins me around.

He held me with his arms around my waist, I ran my fingers In his hair and kissed him gently.

"I want to show you something."

"Ok wha-" he cut me off as he jumped from the tower with me in his arms.

We were.. flying... without a broom!

We flew over the black lake and over the forbidden forest.

It was so surreal.

The wind in our hair, the cool air our our faces, we spun for hours and we finally landed in a beautiful field of flowers.

I spun laughing.

The laughter was short lived when Lucius Malfoy and a couple death eaters appeared in front of us.

Severus grabbed me and pulled me behind him.

"Lucius. What are you doing here"
