"You stroke the spine o'course!"

    I layed in bed for as long as i could just thinking about Severus and Draco.. Confused about it all.

Severus has to feel something... or am i just a silly girl with a silly crush?

But Draco, i can tell he has feelings for me.

I was deep in thought untill Em interrupted my thoughts,

''Hey Sirena? That Granger girl Potter boy and Weasley kid are outside the common room waiting for you? Something about waiting to walk to class? I thought we were walking together?'' she seemed disappointed.

~oh i forgot i told them I would walk with them~

''Im sorry Em, i completely forgot that they asked me, come with us! I want you to walk with me too,'' i said with a reassuring smile.

''OK dont forget your book!'' she said happily handing my books to me.

~Thank god she isnt mad~

     We exit the common room and are greeted by 3 smiling faces.

''Hey!'' The trio exclaimed in unison.

''Hey guys, this is Emily but you can call her Em, she is my roomie!''

I said as i looped my arms with Em and Hermiones.

Harry jumped in front of us as we walked and excitedly asked,

''Hey Sirena, we were going to head to the 3 broomsticks after class on friday, you guys should come?''

Before i could answer Em reluctantly said ''Awe that sounds fun, thanks guys but ill go next time?''

~itll be fun Deveraux, take your mind off of Snape and Draco~

''Yea ok! Sounds fun.''

    Yesterday's rain had cleared; the sky was a clear, pale grey and the grass was springy and damp underfoot as they set off for their Care of magical Creatures class.

"C'mon, now, get a move on!" Hagrid called, as the class approached.

"Got a real treat for yeh today! Great lesson comin' up! Everyone here? Right, follow me!"

We walked down a path and saw this beautiful creature.

~Wow its beautiful~

I dropped my arms from Hermiones and Em's in amazement.

Draco, Theo, and Blaise walk up behind me, Draco tosses his book on a rock, and throws his arm around me.

''A'right kids, thats it form a line right there. Turn to page 49.''Hagrid instructed the class.

''How exactly do we do that??'' Draco questioned.

"You stroke the spine o'course!!''

    Draco didn't try to hide his disgust ''This place has gone to the dogs, wait until my father hears that Dumbledore's got this oaf teaching classes!''

Harry popped in defending his friend '' Shut up Malfoy''

Draco laughed ''oh hoo hoo'' then he acted terrified and pointed behind harry ''DEMENTORE dementore!''

Harry turned around so fast but there was nothing there.

Draco and the guys laughed at him.

I started to walk toward Harry but Draco grabbed my arm and pansy said ''Come Sirena, stand with us..'' 

I gave the trio an apologetic glance, '' ill see you guys later?''

        "H-Hagrid? What exactly is that?'' Ron asked timidly starring at the beast in front of the class.

''This is a Hippogriff, A Hippogriff as yer can see is a magical beast that has the front legs, wings, and head of a giant eagle and the body, hind legs and tail of a horse.

It was very similar to another magical creature, the Griffin, with the horse rear replacing the lion rear.'' Hagrid excitedly said.

''Say hello to Buckbeak, they are very proud creatures, you do not want to insult them, maybe the last thing you'll ever do.... Now!''

he claps his hands together, ''who wants to say hello??''

The class backs up leaving harry standing in front.

''Well done harry! Now you'll let him make the first move, step up. Give a nice bow, if he bows back.. you can go and touch him''

Buckbeak bows back and Harry slowly approaches him.

Harry reaches up and pets the beast in front of him.

''He'll let you ride him now'' Hagrid says as he lifts harry on Buckbeak.

''W-what??'' we watch as the beast runs and fly's away with Harry on his back.

"If potter can do it, it must'nt be so hard,'' Draco said smugly.

''Maybe we should listen to Hagrid i-'' I tried to stop him from doing something stupid when he interrupted me.

''Whos side are you on Deveraux?'' he sounded annoyed.

~asshole. youre going to get yourself expelled!~

      Harry was gone for a time but finally came back, the students and Hagrid roared with applause.

''Well done harry!! Well done Buckbeak!!'' exclaimed Hagrid.

Everyone formed around Harry congratulating him.

''Fuck this, youre just a big ball of yarn arent you you beast'' he said to Buckbeak storming to him.                                                                                                                                        

''Draco stop!'' Hagrid shouted                                                                                                                                         

''Draco no!'' i shouted and chased after him.                                                                                                           

''AHH!'' Draco screamed at Buckbeak knocked him over scratching his arm with his talon. AsDraco gets knocked down, he knocks me down and my hand gets slashed on a rock.'' Ah fuck''

Draco cries in pain.

''I got ye ill take ye to the hospital wing at once, Sirena, you should come too to get that hand looked at. ''

Hagrid  scoops Draco up and i follow them to the castle draco groaned the whole way.

~i doubt it hurts that bad but then again...~  i felt sorry for him in this moment..but i did try to warn him.

Drops of blood left like a trail of breadcrumbs, ~i take it back.. i feel bad for the elves that have to clean this~

He carried Draco down the long halls to the hospital wing, trying to soothe him and keep him calm.

Hagrid was a tough and rugged man, but he had a soft spot for children and he was always quick to step in and help when they were in danger. He had seen too many students injured during his time at Hogwarts and he didn't want to see any more young lives cut short.

Hagrid's actions on that day only served to further cement his reputation as one of the kindest and most loving members of the Hogwarts staff. He was always there to lend a hand or a shoulder to cry on, and he was beloved by students and teachers alike.
