Amara shot up out of bed and ran to the bathroom. As soon as she got sick, Hobi was right there holding her hair and rubbing her back. "Are you okay, Angel?"
"Yeah, just remind me to never eat any of Kook's food. Whatever he brought in for lunch yesterday didn't settle right."
Hobi chuckled. "Are you sure you aren't pregnant?" He mused.
"I had zero symptoms with Vae, so I doubt I am. Plus, we just started trying."
"True, but we got pregnant with Vae basically on the first try, so it can happen." He handed her a glass of water to rinse her mouth out, then gently wiped her face clean. "Never eating any of Kook's food again," she grumbled. "I had no symptoms last time because," she scrunched up her face because she couldn't remember. He might remember it, but she doesn't.
"Because why?" She asked, her voice full of curiosity.
Shit, what does he do now? "Because you were at home with your family. You were sleeping in the same bed as Kook; maybe your body wasn't ready to tell you they were pregnant." She was fighting not being with him; that's why her body never told her. It was protecting her, but he can't say that. Anytime she tries to reflect on what happened in that almost a year she missed, she gets evil migraines that require so much rest to get them to break.
"I guess, it's not like I'd want Kook to hold my hair while I was throwing up. He'd probably start barfing, too."
Hobi chuckled, "You've thrown up on him before. I'm sure he'd be fine, but I get it."
She rested a bit on him as they sat on the bathroom floor. "If I am, we'll have to expand our little apartment or move somewhere else."
"I'm not moving. There's no way I can go all day without being able to see my babies."
Amara giggled, smacking his chest a bit. "It's not like we wouldn't be here anyway. I mean I still have a store to run you goofball."
"Doesn't matter," he muttered as he nuzzled his nose into her hair, "this is our home. I'll expand it, give us as many rooms as you need. But I'm not moving."
"Okay, okay. Let's find out if I'm even pregnant first." They got ready for the day but she wanted to wait for Kook to come to work before they found out.
"It's not fair," Hobi whined. "He knew before I did the last time." He wasn't actually mad; he was more than thankful for everything Jungkook had ever done for Amara. He was there for her when Hobi couldn't be and in ways that Hobi never could. Kook and his family took Amara in like she'd always been there, and they loved her and Vae so much.
"Fine, we'll take the test and tease Kook about it all morning until he explodes. How does that sound?"
Amara smirked as she sniffed her brother, "You smell funny, Kook."
He lifted his arm and smelled his armpit. "I showered this morning. Maybe you are just weird."
She dropped it, and an hour later, she was needy. He was whining about being hungry, but nothing he suggested sounded good. Hobi just chuckled as Kook tried desperately to make his sister happy. Then, when she asked if he'd like to be an Uncle again, he dropped the necklace he was working on. "Are you pregnant? Is that why you are acting all weird?"
"We are, but I'm not acting weird." She pouted with mock annoyance.
"You are; you didn't act like this last time at all," His eyes went to Hobi's, and Hobi nodded; he got it then. This is how it would have been if she wouldn't have been under duress and heartbroken the entire pregnancy. Jungkook smiled his adorable bunny smile, his eyes scrunched up a bit, "well I guess it's a good thing that he gets to deal with you this time around."
The pregnancy wasn't too bad. She was much needier than last time, but Hobi was enjoying it to the fullest. He loved all the cuddles and getting to pamper his wife. She also showed this time around, unlike last time, and they both loved that. "Congrats, you are having another little girl."
Hobi was beyond elated. He loved his princess so much that having two was just amazing. "I'm so happy," Hobi cried as he kissed his wife over and over again. When they told their families, there were so many tears from how happy everyone was.
Jimin walked over to Amara and hugged her. "I'm so glad everything worked out, Angel."
She smiled at him, "I'm not sure, and I can't think about it too much; otherwise, my head will hurt. But I feel like I have you to thank for this happiness. And if that's true, thank you, Jimin. Hobi is everything to me. He's the greatest husband and father to my babies I could have ever asked for. I know school wasn't easy for us, and I know I made it hard for you to be friends with me."
He grinned slightly, "In your defense, I made it hard to want to be my friend. But you were having fun with the teasing, the girl who never let anyone in. How could I resist it?"
"Anyway, you turd, thank you for pushing me. For bringing me into your little group and loving me despite my past." She frowned. "I don't remember much, and I won't question why. Just thank you."
He wrapped his arms around her and squeezed her tightly, making sure that he didn't place too much pressure on her growing stomach. "We'd do anything for you, Angel, all of us. You have us for life. I hope you know that."
"I do; my kids are so lucky to have so many amazing people around them who love them like their own."
His hand rubbed her belly, "this one I'm calling dibs on. Jungkook, as Vae wrapped around his little finger, it's my turn to be the fun Uncle that gets the most kisses."
Yoongi snorted behind him, "naw, it's my turn."
Amara sat back as she watched those two bicker about how they were superior to each other. "They are ridiculous, aren't they?" Hobi whispered as he sat down next to her.
"They are. I'm still not sure how you became friends with them, if I'm being honest."
"Taehyung, it's all his fault. While we are both social butterflies, he's all about rounding up the weirdos, and well he dragged me along since I was his roommate."
Jin scoffed, "I resent that, I am not weird."
Joon laughed as he patted Jin's head like a puppy, "Sure you aren't."
Tae popped over in his Tiger form, Vae was riding on his back squealing about how much she loved her kitty. "All of us are weird; it's why we work." She looked at her husband, "I love you."
"And I love you," he whispered before kissing her softly. "Now everyone animal forms; my baby girl wants to play."
"No," Jimin whined, "last time she squeezed me so hard I thought she broke something. You are a squirrel, you can at least run away quickly. Jin even has a better chance than I do."
Amara held out her hand. "I'll hold you, Chim. You know I love playing with my chick!" Jimin grumbled but did as asked. He sat on her shoulder while Jin beelined over towards them and scampered up her leg to get out of Vae's reach. "Aww, Jinnie, do you need to nap in my bra again?"
She could tell by Hobi's face that he didn't like you, even if he was a squirrel. So she placed Jin on the top of her head while she watched her brother's bunny form bounce around her daughter. She clapped and giggled so happily. This is life, she thought with a soft smile.
