As Lucy and Toma ran towards Gray and Reina, the weather started to get a little chilly.

"I-is i-i-it cold in h-here or is it j-just me?" Lucy asked slowing down, smoke coming out her mouth as she spoke. "It's cold in here. I think it was probably them," Toma replied, trying to warm himself by rubbing his biceps.

"Then what was that loud explosion then?" Lucy asked as they started to move faster. "I'm not sure, let's see once we get there," Toma said.

Lucy and Toma kept walking forward, and the farther they went, the colder it got and snow was starting to form. "On a warm day, it's cold in here," Lucy said in disbelief.

Once they found Gray and Reina, they were in the middle of battling each other. "What are those dumbasses doing!?" Lucy thought in shock, not wanting to curse in front of Toma. "Dad! Reina! Why are you fighting when we're in a middle of a mission!?" Toma yelled running to them.

Gray had basically stripped down, with pants still on, and Reina didn't have her long sleeved, orange shirt on anymore. She was now just wearing a tank top.

"Gray what are you doing with your shirt off?" Lucy asked looking away. Gray looked down and realized he was topless. "Ah!" he yelled looking for his shirt.

"And Reina you too, put your shirt back on," Toma commanded as she rolled her eyes. "But it was hoooot," Reina complained as she puts her shirt on. "It wasn't hot at all, that was just you. And why were you and dad battling?" Toma asked.

Reina finally got her shirt on, along with Gray and walked up to Lucy and Toma.

"Well... dad want-" she was cut off as Gray shut her mouth. "Let her go Gray, I want to hear her," Lucy said putting her hand on her hips. Gray shook his head no. "Gray... let her go," Lucy repeated getting a little impatient.

"No. Nu-uh. Never. Don't tell her," Gray whispered the last sentence to Reina's ear.

"Toma come here," Lucy said. Toma came closer and whispered something on his ear and nodded. "What did she say?" Gray asked Toma, but he didn't respond.

"Gate of the Fire, Agnidev!" Toma yelled and Agnidev, appeared next to him.

"You need something bro?" Agnidev asked. "Glad you don't have that cigarette in your mouth, anyways, can you make my dad unconscious?" Toma asked and Agnidev nodded and a formed green fire on his palm.

"Wait!" Gray said stopping Agnidev from throwing his fire. "What?" Agnidev asked. "You're a fire user, you can't get me unconscious with fire," Gray laughed.

Agnidev rolled his eyes and threw the fire and knocked him out.

"Do you need me for anything else?" Agnidev asked. Toma shook his head. "No, thanks for your help Dev," Toma said. Agnidev then disappeared in a flash.

"Now what were you about to say Reina?" Lucy asked. "Oh yeah, dad wanted to see how strong I am for an ice wizard. Then there was this loud explosion since we clashed ice together and it spreaded into a million pieces and became snow," Reina explained.

Lucy rolled her eyes. "Gray, she's just as kid," Lucy said shaking hair head at Gray, who was unconscious in the ground. "I forgot that I also found something weird over there, but I got distracted since dad wanted to battle me," Reina added.

"Something weird? Show us," Toma said as Reina started to lead the way, Gray being carried by Horologium, since Lucy called him.

When they reached the destination, there was a huge bump on the ground covered by snow. "That's huge. Could it be the treasure?" Toma asked, Reina shrugged.

"Ugh, where am I? Gray says," Horologium repeated Gray. "Why am I here!? he asks shouting," Horologium repeated. Horologium opened his door and Gray got out. "Why was I inside there?" Gray asked. "You can go now Horologium, thanks for your help," Lucy said.

"Glad to be at your service Miss Lucy," Horologium said and disappeared. "Oh and about your question, we didn't want to carry you because we didn't have much strength. I also found out that you were fighting a kid. You're a powerful wizard Gray, why would you fight Reina?" Lucy asked disappointed.

Gray scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, I just really wanted to know how good at ice making she was. And how well I taught her, and I'm really proud, she's basically strong as me when I was a kid back then," Gray said smiling and petting Reina's head.

"Aww now I understand, I'm sorry," Lucy apologized.

"It's okay, but why are we hear for?" Gray asked, not noticing the huge lump on the ground. "I think we might've found the treasure," Toma answered, pointing at the large lump.

"Really!? Then let's start digging then," Gray said and everyone started to dig up the huge pile and came across a treasure chest.

"I think we did just found the treasure," Reina said opening it to see a note and a portal open up.

Dear Team Natsu,

I'm guessing that when you find this chest and read the note, it has been 13 years already. I also know that the current people reading this are Lucy, Gray, and their kids. But the Lucy and Gray aren't from this time and era, you guys are from the past.

The reason why you guys are here is because I wanted to test out my transportation device I've been working on for the last 40 years.

When I sent you on the mission, there was a changing in the weather and that was my device getting ready to transport someone, and it was successfully done. Now that you've found this portal, you can now go back to your present time.

I'm sorry for troubling you, and also return this note to me once you return home. I'll give you the reward then.

Sincerely,
a woman everyone thought was dead.

"So all this time we were here was part of some random woman's request? That everyone thought was dead? That's total BS," Gray scorned, crossing his arms.

"So that means the present mom and dad will be back right?" Reina asked, Toma nodded. "What will happen to you guys? Are you guys going back to the past?" Toma asked.

"Well, we have to. If we stay here, you guys probably won't....." Lucy trailed off. Toma and Reina understood and broke down into tears and ran to Gray and Lucy, giving them a hug.

"Don't worry, we're still going to be here, just the older versions of us," Gray said trying to comfort them.

"Hey Toma, take care of your sister okay? And don't forget, stop her when she's about to strip, she might turn out naked next time," Gray joked, Toma nodded and gave a little laugh.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye. Tell everyone bye okay?" Lucy said.

"We'll miss you!" Toma and Reina said, wiping their tears. "We will too," Gray responded and held Lucy's hand.

They walked into the portal and was immediately transported back into the past, everything wasn't covered in snow, and it was warm again.

"Welcome home," Gray and Lucy said in unison as they looked at each other and smiled.
