Sets & Sweet Words (Request)

Sam Fender x Reader 

It was yet another morning for you on set. There was crew and actors running around everywhere as you sat having your makeup and hair done with a coffee.

You had been mentally preparing all week for the scene today as you had to talk with your on-screen brother about their mother's death which hit close to home for yourself.

Your boyfriend, Sam had been reassuring you all week and even sat there for hours last night by your side as you went through pictures of your mum and ranted about each picture which came with a memory.

You thanked the makeup artist as you left the trailer and walked onto set. You were quickly met with the director.

"There's somebody waiting for you over on the other end of set y/n" he quickly told you before telling you when into be in place and rushed off.

You gave him a confused look as you went over to find out who this mystery person is. You looked up to be met with the loving eyes of Sam.

"Hey darling" Sam said before embracing you.

"What are you doing here?" you questioned as you nuzzled into his neck.

"Well, you left in a hurry this morning before I could reassure and cuddle you so I thought instead of messaging you that I would come down and see you in action. I'll go home if you don't want me here, but I want to be at your side pet" he says, guiding you to sit down outside.

"What would I do without you aye fender?" you ask with a sweet smile on your face.

He just shrugs and places a short kiss on your lips before walking you to set.

When you arrive at set, you see Joe standing talking with the director. He quickly notices you stood with Sam and comes over.

"You must be Sam, this one talks about you all the time" Joe says, greeting Sam as you roll your eyes at his comment.

"Don't I get a greeting?" you say to the boy who rolls his eyes in response before hugging you.

Sam quickly gets into conversation with the guy like you thought, he really had no trouble socialising with people.

"Right Joe I want you to be coming down the stairs to see your sister obviously having a bit of a moment and y/n I want you sat in the chair near the stairs with your knee to your chest, putting down the picture frame on the table" your director directs, making sure you two are in the right place.

Just before he can say action, you look over at Sam who is giving you an encouraging smile with his soft comforting eyes staring right back at you.

"Action!" the director calls.

You do the scene in one take, it was a bit rough but that's what gives the movie it's edge and emotion according to the crew.

Soon as you have been dismissed, you walk over to Sam, and he just holds you with no words being said.

"Y'alright pet?" he says after a few minutes of silence.

You hum in response before composing yourself and talk to Joe about the scene as Sam stands behind you with his hands around your waist.

"I think after that we need a pizza trailer night, what do you say?" Joe asks, to which you agree.

"I'll go order the pizzas" you say, going to find your phone.

Sam and Joe quickly get into conversation as you walk to the trailer in front of the two boys.

"I may only be her on screen brother, but I will not be afraid to hurt you like her real brother if you step out of line" Joe warns Sam.

"You have nothing to worry about Joe, I would never hurt that woman. She is my whole world" Sam says as they catch up with you.

That's how you spend your night, you three on the sofa in your trailer with pizza, wine and you cuddling Sam as you tell Joe about how you guys met.
