Episode 17: 3 is better than 2

"Good morning everyone..." It was surprising to hear Vintage so... Sad... It was probably Cookie being gone taking a toll on him. "Today... Wait..." Vintage counted "Woah... We... Only have 7 contestants left... Counting Cali... I... Let's just get on with it." The teams all went silent "Today's challenge will be a cooking challenge. You have to cook something of your choice and give it to me. Who'll rate it. Your stations are over there. You have 3 hours starting now."

Team Thunder:
Cappy sighed "Anyone here have any experience cooking?" "Uhm... No..." "Nope." "F u n ." Cappy sighed "Since Vintage looks sad... Maybe we should go for something... Comforting...? Like a cake!" "Well I-" just than the sky lit up bright red. Cappy immediately ran Infront of Bottle and Lighter to see it was a warning flare. "What in the... Wait." Cappy turned towards his friends "Didn't CB have a warning flare Incase Nest and Buckets Island wasn't good to them...!?" Lighter ran over to Vintage.

"VINTAGE! CB NEEDS HELP! WE HAVE T-" "What's the point...?" "W... What!?" "It doesn't matter... Go... Help them if you want... I'm staying here." Lighter looked over at Cappy and Bottle. Who didn't say anything. He just sighed and ran over to the beach side.

Luckily the boats from last episode were still here. He hopped on team Lightnings boat and was about to release the sail when he heard "WAIT!" He looked over and saw Bottle and Cappy. "Guys...!? What are y-" Cappy cut him off "Listen, I... I don't care what happens! I don't care if we get votes it because of this! We want to stay by your side Lighter. I may hate CB but... She means a lot to you. So... We're coming to!" Lighter paused. It was hard to believe that even though Bottle and Cappy could lose the whole game by following him... They wanted to. Just because it meant a lot to him. Lighter couldn't help but tear up. Cappy ran up to the boat. "Hey...!? Lighter are you ok-" He was cut off by being picked up into a tight hug "You guys are the best!"

As they rode the boat towards Nest and Buckets Island. When suddenly Cappy heard the sky rumble "Hey... I think we're headed towards a thunderstorm!" "Should we turn around?" Cappy and Bottle both looked at Lighter. "I mean... We might be able to go around it... But we can't turn back!" Cappy nodded "Than lets push through." "Okay..."

As they went further through the storm it only became more and more violent. But it eventually ended. Cappy slowly stood up, making sure not to slip on the wet wooden floors. "Is everyone okay...?" Bottle was throwing up off the side of the ship "I'll... Live." Lighter was clenching onto the ships wheel "I'm okay!" Cappy sighed "phew... Good... How long do you think this'll take?" "The island is still... About 7 hours away." Bottle groaned out "aaaagh!"

7 hours didn't pass by quickly by any means. But finally they made they're want to the island. Lighter threw down the anchor. He ran to the side of the ship "CB! It's me! Lighter! We saw your flare!" There was a rusting in the bushes. And out emerged a very ashamed CB. They had a bite like mark taking the left side of her face. Completely taking they're left eye. Lighter was in such shock all he could do was watch as CB walked into the boat and into the ships lower compartment. Lighter turned to look at Cappy and Bottle. Bottle looked just as shocked as Lighter, While Cappy looked more frustrated. "Spoiled little- they didn't say thanks for saving her!" Bottle turned to Cappy "It looks like they've had a long last few days, I can't say I blame her. Let's just start going home."

Lighter stuck a stick through the ships wheel so he could walk over to Cappy and Bottle without the ship going off course. He walked over "Hey guys! What are ya looking at?" "Eh, just the sunset." Lighter sat down and looked up at the sky. Waves of red, orange, pink and purple draped down on the sky with the sun sinking below the horizon. Lighter had never really liked watching the sunset but when he was with Cappy and Bottle it felt different. It felt like butterfly's we're swarming in his stomach. But it wasn't unpleasant. But Lighter noticed Cappy's expression contort a little. "You okay...?" "So... Who are we voting out...?" The group went silent. "I don't want to vote either of you out..." "I mean, we have to. It isn't like the three of us could win." Bottle looked at the 2 of them. "Well... I think Cappy should make it. I mean, he's kinda the glue holdin us together." Cappy perked up before chuckling. "Do you really think this short, armless mess could make it without either of you?" "I think you could." Cappy peered over at Lighter, who continued "I mean, Being short makes you harder to see! Which will Total come in handy, plus your smart and fast and... Honestly I could go on and on..!" Cappy smiled a little "Thanks Lighter..." Silence overswept the three. The three of them were all thinking the same thing: "Now is the perfect moment! Tell them how you feel!" But no one dared to take the first move. The tension on the boat was so thick you could cut it with scissors. Lighter took a deep breath. Preparing to make the first move. But he was cut off by Cappy "I love you guys... L... Love love." Lighter looked over. Cappy looked tense and was looking into the water, a line of blush across his face. Lighter smiled. If he didn't have more self control he could kiss Cappy right now. But instead he just let out a small chuckle "We love you too."

Later that night...

Vintage didn't look much better than he did that morning "Alright, in bringing back CB you three lost. I rallied up the votes... Here they are."

Lighter voted for: Lighter

Bottle voted for: Bottle

Vintage sighed "And Cappy voted for Cappy... I swear... Fine than. Uuh... We'll go with Bottle, since she hasn't done much, I'm sure the viewers don't find her interesting." Cappy gasped "Wha-, just like that...!?" "Yep." He opened up the portal. Bottle stood up. But she didn't walk towards the portal. Instead she paused. Before taking a deep breath and kissing Cappy. She pulled away after a second to see an awestruck expression on Cappy's face. She smiled before quickly giving Lighter a hug and running towards the portal. She turned back to wave "Stay safe you 2!" Lighter smiled "Bye bottle! Tell Cookie I said hi!" She looked at Cappy. Who was still awestruck. She smirked as she walked through the portal.
As the light of the portal faded, Lighter found his happy expression fades too. He looked over at Cappy. Who was just as upset. Lighter out a hand on his back "She'll be fine, she knows how to take care of herself." Cappy smiled, just a little. "Yeah..."
