It had been a few days since the Spike incident. The trio, Leo and I were already at school. I was wearing an outfit that I wouldn't normally wear. It was definitely a lot more casual than normal, but to be honest, I couldn't care less. That and I was too tired to think about it and change.

I was standing with Adam, Chase and Leo and I was next to Chase. I didn't know where Bree was. She disappeared when she got here. Adam, Chase and I were talking, when Leo interrupted us. 'Guys, with the dance coming up, I thought you could use a lesson on how to ask out a lady.'
'Oh, I didn't Kathy was gonna teach us.' Chase said, sounding very surprised. I giggled a little.
'Oh, great. Do you know a guy who can teach us?' Adam asked. I gave him a high-five.
'Me!' The three of us gave him weird looks. There was no way he was serious, right? 'You're gonna watch me ask out the girl of my dreams: Danielle.' He said in a dreamy tone. Oh, he was serious. Well, this isn't gonna end well.
'Danielle? Isn't she the girl who uses you as a footstool in Math class?' Leo gave Chase a funny look.
'Where else is she supposed to put her feet, on the floor?!'
'Leo, Danielle is the hottest girl in school. Chances are, she already has a date. Even if she didn't, do you really think she would go with you? Her makeup brushes are bigger than you!'
He just rolled his eyes and ignored me. 'Open your notebooks boys, and Kathy, 'cause class is in session.' He tried to walk like a cool boy, but even that failed miserably.
'Oh, this is gonna be good.' I said to the other two boys. I turned to them and said, '10 bucks says that he completely blows it, she calls him the wrong name, and walks away but he still tries. He ends up failing and getting hurt. The loser gives the winner the money at the dance, sound good?'
'No. Don't be a wimp, go for 20.' Chase said to me. I smiled at him and shook his hand.
