POV: Maggie

Ever since we got here, she's been acting differently. She shut everyone out at first but now, she's back to her normal self, cheerful and happy. I don't know how I feel about her hanging out with Tara. I haven't known her for a long time, she seems like an honest person, but she was with the people who took my father's life away.

It's the way my little sisters looks at her. She turns so Tara doesn't see her blushing face. She has that smile that every guy longs to see. It's not just two friends loving each other's company, it's more than that.

POV: Beth

I can't tell if I am going crazy. I can't resist the way this woman looks at me with the sparkle in her eyes. Her smile is strong enough to bring me to my knees. She's blushing her cheeks, an I am falling for it. I've never felt this way for anyone let alone a woman.

"I've dated guys in the past, I can't be a lesbian. Can I" I think to myself.

I sit an gaze upon the women that won't get out of my head. What if dad were to hear I am having these sorts of thoughts. I've been raised that a man should be with a woman not another man. I've always been told it's a sin. I strongly believe in God, and if God made everyone, then God makes no mistakes.

My daddy wouldn't understand, I could never love a man the way I love you

If a woman that loves another woman is so bad, then how come she can make me feel this way. She makes my heart fill with joy then she always leaves me wanting more. I need you to teach me to run away, I need more running space, somewhere I can be the way god made me because he doesn't make mistakes.

Since getting comfortable where we are and figuring out how to pull our weight in the community. Occasionally, Tara and I will go for a walk around the community walls. It was around 11 pm when the stars started to pop out. We didn't do much, we would aimlessly walk around the walls an simply talk.

"You know, you're lucky to have Maggie as a sister. She loves you so much" Tara commented out of the blue. I shot her a confused look no knowing why she suddenly brought this up.

"I was with Maggie when she told that you were alive in the hospital. She was so happy and relieved that she started crying. Then when Daryl carried your lifeless body out, she burst into tears, she wasn't ready to have you leave her just yet".

I really took in what Tara had just said. It reminded me of how she must have felt when I tried to Commit Suicide. I stopped walking when the tears started to run down my cheeks.

"I've been such a terrible sister to her" I whimpered. Tara pulled me into her arms and held me close.

"Beth, I don't know what happened before, but I know now that you are trying your best, and that's all that matters. And I am sure Maggie knows that" Tara whispered for a sense of comfort.

I pulled away with a faint smile, Tara had grabbed my hands to hold them in hers. God knows where I would be if you hadn't found me sitting all alone in the dark.

"I don't know where the hell I would be without you" I confessed.

"Good thing you don't have to".
