Choi Haewon POV

I and Jungwon were just enjoying our food when chaos broke out.
A few minutes later after arriving at the cafe I had gotten a call about Niki getting into a big fight at school and was now in the hospital with a broken arm along with Heeseung. Apparently, Jake had seen Niki get into a fight and tried to get him out, but he don't manage to do so before the younger had gotten really hurt.

Jungwon pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "I really hope he learned to stop fighting this time" I uttered while stabbing my salad.
"Yeah, let's finish the food and head home to fetch him a spare set of clothes in case he spills something on it."

The ride home was longer than I thought. We thought about walking but took the bus once we found out it was an hour's walk and only twenty minutes by bus.

When we arrived at the hospital Niki was sitting in a bed arguing with Sunoo about some song Sunoo wanted to do a cover of, while Heeseung was sitting on a couch with his AirPods plugged in looking at his phone. Even if the door was open, they hadn't seemed to notice us yet, so Jungwon knocked on the door to announce our arrival. "Oh you're here," Sunoo said surprised, and rose from Niki's hospital bed. He walked toward us and grabbed the bag of spare clothes we had bought for Niki, and placed it beside Heeseung on the couch.
Heeseung snapped his eyes up and looked at us more surprised than Sunoo had been. "Finally you're here, now I don't need to third wheel alone anymore" he patted the space beside him and signalized for me to sit beside him.

He gave me one of his AirPods and rested his head on my shoulder. "Great," Jungwon said sarcastically "Now I'm fifth wheeling" he threw his hands up in the air and slumped down beside us.

A few minutes went by before Jay arrived. He had his phone in his hand and a stressed look painted on his face. He muttered some words to himself and scanned the room until his eyes met mine. "Haewon, can you come with me and buy medicine for Niki? The doctor has given me a list of things we have to buy since his arm was apparently not the only thing that got hurt in the fight" I nodded and gave Heeseung his AirPod and followed my brother.

Jay was oddly quiet the whole way to the pharmacy. He could whisper some words to himself from time to time, but it was first after we got out of the pharmacy again that he stopped me and actually spoke.
"My- our father called me. He wanted me to attend one of his company parties that he is holding in two weeks... he also wanted me to bring you with me. I understand if you do t want to come, but if you want to I'll be by your side the whole time and don't leave you so that some old men come and make you uncomfortable-"

"I'll think about it if you promise to stay by my side the whole night and deal with me" he let out a dry chuckle and looked me in the eye.
"I'd rather want to spend my entire night locked up with you that to attend the party, trust me"

My brother grabbed my hand and forced me into a warm hug. I giggled a bit since Jay seemed like the bad boy type, but once you got to know him he became a soft-hearted guy that love hugs, cooking, and caring for others and made out of 98 present boyfriend material.
Jay let out a small hum and started rubbing my back. I thought it was a little weird that the two of us were hugging randomly on the street, but I didn't mind since Jay seemed to enjoy it.
