Parker and I were on the couch intensity watching the time pass on our watches. We both had been grounded for month and we needed that grounding to offically over.
Maddie just came home after having a victory lunch with her team for winning the State Championship.
"Look who's on the front page," mom came out of kitchen and went to Maddie holding the Steven's Point Gezette.
"What?...that's me! This is so cool mom," Maddie gasped excited as she held the paper.
"My little girl in headline news, I made that beautiful face in my baby over," mom smiled.
Maddie drop the newspaper is disgust. Mom smiled, shrugged and picked it up.
Dad came downstairs.
"Parker, Ally let's go. Victory Parade will be here any minute to take us to the rally," Dad smiled as he, Maddie and mom danced.
"Yeah, hold that thought," I told them.
"3,2,1," Parker did a count down and the clock on top of the mantle let out a victory sound.
