"The most successful mother-daughters team wins the golden butter churn and gets to lord it over the other ladies for an entire year." Mom showed a picture of the golden butter churn.
"Yeah, this is just a picture 'cause mom, Maddie, I have never really won it," I explain.
"Well one of us always seems to get leprosy or fall into a Wolverine nest before you we have enough points," Maddie explained.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"And by one of us. We mean Ally." Mom whispered and pointed to me. Maddie nodded.
"Mom." I looked at her.
"Hmmm?" She asked.
