Taehyung's POV:

"I don't know Adeline. Are you sure this is a good idea?" I asked feeling nervous.

She stood on her tiptoes and placed a black snapback on top of my head and pulled the hood of my hoodie over it before settling back down on her feet.

"It'll be fine. No one will suspect anything."

I looked over at Jimin.

"Hey, if you don't want to go, I will happily take your place."

I shook my head. I wanted to go. I really did. I was just worried about being recognized.

"Why is he going instead of me again?" Namjoon asked with a frown that was quickly turning into a pout as he glared at Adeline tucking my stray hairs that were sticking out back under the snapback with her fingers.

"Because I want to spend time with just Tae. Besides, do you do photography?" She asked twisting her torso to face Namjoon.

Namjoon rolled his eyes with a huff making me laugh.

"What are you complaining about? We all know we won't see her once we get to New York since you are likely to horde her to yourself." Jimin accused.

"I do not horde her." Namjoon said defensively.

"You do but that's okay."  Seokjin said walking past him to sit in the chair next to where Adeline and I were standing. "No one is judging you."

"I'm absolutely judging you." Jimin said straight-faced.

Adeline burst into giggles.

"Adeline!" Namjoon whined behind her.

"Don't pull me into this because you may not like who I side with." She grinned turning around to face him.

Laughter filled the room.

"My own girlfriend is against me." Namjoon said shaking his head in disbelief.

Adeline ignored him and grabbed her bag that was on the floor beside her feet and slung it over her head adjusting the strap across her torso. I turned to my right and looked down to grab my own except it wasn't there. When I looked upward Namjoon stood there holding my bag. He stepped forward and placed the strap over my head adjusting it across me with a quiet smile.

"Be careful, okay?" He said stepping back when he was done.

I smiled reassuringly. I knew he wasn't really upset that Adeline was spending time alone with me. It was more worry for our safety than anything.

"We will." I said glancing to Adeline who gave a firm nod of her head.

"All right we'll see you guys later." Adeline said grabbing my wrist and pulling me towards the door.

Out of the room, we walked down the hallway to the elevator. Once in front of it, Adeline let go of my wrist and pressed the button to go to the lobby.

"I'm so excited to go to the Riverfront." Adeline said next to me smiling broadly reflecting her words physically.

I smiled and chuckled to myself, "I can tell."

The elevator dinged and slid open in front of us, and we quickly walked into it. As soon as we were out of it in the lobby, Adeline began to skip across it motioning for me to hurry up. I grinned shaking my head. All the nervousness that I had been feeling about walking around the city was easily being replaced by her enthusiasm. She was like that though. It was one of the things I enjoyed about her presence. She just had this way about her that could put you at ease.
