Adeline's POV:

"Don't be sad hun." My mom said pulling me into a hug.

"I just wish you guys could stay longer." I said close to tears.

"I know." My mom squeezed me tighter. "But we'll be back soon okay." She pulled away from me brushing my hair off my shoulder.

I nodded my head. I understood that they had to go home. They had left so abruptly that they hadn't even found someone to cover my dad's patients at his practice. Because of that they didn't feel right leaving for more than they already had which was a week.

"Just like mom said, Adie, we'll be back soon." My dad reassured pulling me into his own hug. "Besides, we know we are leaving you in good hands, so I'm not worried like I was previously." My dad smiled over towards Joon's parents who were looking on.

My parents and his parents had actually gotten along really well when it came down to it which was a huge relief. Not that I was worried but still you never know sometimes.

"We'll make sure she is looked after well. Both of your girls." Sungho spoke with an honest smile.

"We appreciate it immensely." My mom returned with her own smile.

"Not that I am trying to dump more water on this already rained on parade, but we have to go." Torrie spoke her head poking in through the opening of the front door.

"Okay, okay." I said reaching forward for a last hug embracing the both of them. "Call me when you land okay?"

"Of course." My mom said. "Be careful tomorrow okay."

I nodded my head knowing that she was referring to the concert tomorrow. Tomorrow kicked off the first of the three Seoul shows that would effectively end the Speak Yourself tour once complete. Just like Sihyuk had said during the press conference I was going to be working them. It was my job. The one that I was hired to do, and I wasn't going to let anyone dictate whether or not I fulfilled that duty. Especially since I did nothing wrong as Sihyuk said as well.

"I will. I promise!" I returned.

"We'll all keep an eye on her." Joon spoke behind me as his hands settled on my shoulders.

"Guys." Torrie said in a tone bordering on pleading.

"Coming dear." My mom said with a chuckle that made us all laugh even Torrie.

My laughter was short lived though as I watched the front door close taking the sight of my parents with it. Joon wrapped himself around me in a back hug his chin hooked over my shoulder. He didn't say anything has he hugged me, and it was enough.

"Come on." He spoke next to my ear before he turned his face to kiss the side of my cheek before turning the two of us around.

When we turned around, I found that we were alone. Everyone else probably leaving to give us privacy. I found in that moment that I was okay with that. I was thankful for it. Instead of heading back to the sitting area where I thought we would go we ended up in Joon's room. Joon was still latched onto my back when we made our way to his room, and he continued to stay that way once in it even as we climbed up into his bed. I wasn't sure how long we laid there in silence tangled up together, but it was long enough to where I fell asleep.
