Adeline's POV:
"You're such a jerk!" I said pushing Torrie away from me as soon as the door to our parent's room closed only for her to break out into what I can only describe as a bout of cackling. "Stop laughing."
I, of course, was completely ignored and she continued laughing even as she jumped onto my back gluing herself to me her arms wrapped around my neck and shoulder area while she walked in step with me from behind knowing I wouldn't carry her.
"Oh stop, we both know you aren't really mad."
She was right I wasn't really mad. Not at all. I was far from it being extremely happy at the little surprise she pulled off.
I slipped the keycard into the lock waiting for the click I knew would come when it unlocked. I pushed the door open as soon as I heard it with Torrie still attached to me. Once fully in the room Torrie unglued herself from my back and jumped onto the bed. Torrie was sharing my room with me since my parents were taking hers.
"Unless." She rolled over onto her side to face me a mischievous grin bending her lips. "Your mad sexy time with Namjo-"
Her words were cut off by the pillow she took to the face courtesy of me. As the pillow fell away the room was filled with her laughter. Torrie rolled over onto her back arms outstretched her hands motioning me to come to her. I rolled my eyes with a grin and hopped up onto the bed and settled next to her which lasted all of two seconds as she pulled me into an all-confining hug making me giggle.
"I've missed you so much." She said as she continued to squeeze the life out of me.
"I'd miss me too." I joked.
At my wisecracking, she loosened her grip on me and shoved me to the other side of the bed away from her.
"I don't have to take this kind of abuse from you, you know."
"Oh please!" I laughed out as I pulled her back towards me by her arm.
Our laughter eventually faded into a comfortable silence as we lay side by side. I was so happy that I was able to spend time with Torrie and that I was seeing my parents ahead of when I initially thought. After some time, I turned my head to look at Torrie whose face was aimed up at the ceiling her eyes closed. Her strawberry blonde hair that was fanned around her was intermingled with my dark locks that haloed my own head. I smiled. We were complete opposites just as our hair color was but just like light and dark, we worked well together. My lips bent further as a word that I had so often heard used between Jimin and Taehyung to describe their friendship popped into my head. Soulmate. I grinned fully, yeah, Torrie was definitely my twin flame, my soulmate.
"Thank you." I said disturbing the silence we sat in.
I watched Torrie's eyes pop open before she turned her head to face me.
"What for?"
"Just." I shrugged my shoulders. "Everything."
"You know you never have to thank me for anything right? Besides, if anyone should be saying thanks it's me." She said smiling warmly.
"I know but I still wanted to say so." I returned with my own smile.
"Hyung, I think I need a tissue."
Both Torrie and I's heads snapped up from the bed to seek out the owner of the voice we'd just heard. When we did, we could see Jimin and Taehyung standing at the end of the bed. Well, think of the devils I thought before I spoke.
