Jimin's POV:
"Four weeks Jimin. One month. That's all I left for." Adeline huffed as she stood in front of me with crossed arms and a cross look to match.
I went to shrug but winced when I attempted to do so. Immediately Adeline's features softened, and she uncrossed her arms.
"Does it hurt a lot?"
Yeah, it does, but that wasn't what I responded with.
"A bit, but it is fine. I'm fine." I said reassuring her and myself.
I'd been dealing with muscle issues since last year so unfortunately this wasn't anything new. It just flared up when we were on tour without a sufficient break for me to rest my body.
"I appreciate the placation, but you are a terrible liar." Adeline said shaking her head.
I scoffed but couldn't help smiling.
"Let's go." She said picking up my bag that was on the couch next to me adding it to her own bag. "Don't look at me like that. Come on mister."
I started laughing as I stood up from my seat.
"I can take his bag Adeline." Jungkook said coming up to take it from her.
She shifted her shoulder that the strap of my bag occupied out of his reach, "it's cool. I got it."
"Adeline. Just give me the bag." Jungkook said making another attempt to grab it which Adeline successfully dodged again. "You're already carrying your equipment." He explained as she slipped through his reach once more.
"Listen muscle bunny. It's not even heavier than my camera bag okay."
I lost it. I was laughing so hard that I ended up back on the couch on my side. I wasn't the only one laughing either. Hoseok was right there on the couch with me while Taehyung was hanging on to the back of the couch. I couldn't see Seokjin, Yoongi, or Namjoon who were behind us, but I could hear them laughing as well. Jungkook was doing his best not to laugh which he was failing at.
"Oh my God. I love her." I said as I sat up feeling like I just did an ab workout once my laughter died down.
"That's right guys." Adeline said gesturing around the room at all of us with her index finger. "I know about them all. ALL the nicknames that ARMY calls you guys."
"Sure, you do." Yoongi said picking up his duffle bag and making his way towards the door walking past Adeline.
"Sure do. Lil' meow meow." Adeline smirked.
Yoongi stopped in his tracks. We all watched as they both turned to face each other.
"Please tell me Torrie doesn't know about that nickname." Yoongi pleaded.
In answer Adeline laughed which caused Yoongi to sigh.
"I'm doomed." He said resigned.
Adeline came up and patted his shoulder.
"That you are."
She turned around and looked at me with a smile.
"Let's go mochi."
I grinned shaking my head as I stood up from the couch and made my way towards her as she asked. When I came up next to her, I put my arm around her shoulders despite the bags that were attached to them and hugged her.
"Thanks Adeline."
"What are friends for?" She smiled up at me.
I pulled my arm from around her shoulders and walked alongside her out of the room and into the hallways of the stadium. I kept silent as we walked side by side heading out to the exit. We were heading back to the hotel after the show before heading back home in the morning for a few days before coming back. I planned to use those few days to rest up.
