It's been a week since my last mission where we sacked the Avengers West HQ. Nothing particularly important has happened. Black Widow assassinated some important SHIELD Agents, but that's the usual. What's not normal, is that they weren't her missions in the first place. They were Jessica's and she refused to do them. So Yelena had to pick up her slack. What's even wilder is that Viper is keeping it all quiet. Apparently, Viper got busy. She paid off Yelena a huge sum of money to let everyone think Arachne did those missions. Anyone who knows the truth besides the three of them has been silenced by Viper herself. And the best part? Zemo doesn't know about it.

Now, I was able to pry this information out of Bob, because that guy can't keep his mouth shut. Well that's not true. He was doing a rather good job of pretending he didn't know a thing, until I threatened to make him swallow a fireball if he didn't tell me what was going on. I kinda like Bob though, so I gave him half of the money I got from robbing that bank with Jess as compensation. I likely won't be needing anyway and Bob deserved something after I put him in danger.

Apparently, Viper and Arachne are closer than I would've imagined. Ophelia sees her as an important asset and Jessica was personally recruited into Hydra by her. Viper also made Jessica kick off the plan to recruit me into Hydra for her, upon my arrival on Midgard. Whatever is going on with Jess, Viper has kept it quiet enough that I'm the only one of the Council besides her who knows of this insubordination. So I had to dig deeper.

There had to be a reason for Viper to keep this quiet, besides the fact she seems fond of Jessica. Friendship isn't enough to coverup an active attempt at disobeying Zemo's orders. I took another trip to the archives and I began to search around Hydra's funds. I noticed some things were a bit off. Hidden in places they shouldn't be. Viper wasn't just giving her "bonuses" to Yelena. There were countless smaller goons that were being paid more, many assassins, and very interestingly, a very large pay out to a man by the name of Wilson Fisk.

Turns out, this Fisk guy is a businessman in New York City. There isn't a lot of open information on the guy, besides the fact that Fisk has a tower in the city I just mentioned and that he's very wealthy. However, I happen to know someone from New York. Otto Octavius. I found him overseeing the plans of the Thunderbolts next mission.

"Otto, I have a question. I'm trying to understand the landscape of Midgard and you're pretty smart, so I figured you'd know a thing or two about the happenings of this world." I said, turning up the brown-nosing a little bit because I needed this information. I hated doing it, but it's what had to be done.

"Very well. I'll indulge your curiosity for a minute or two. These morons aren't making any progress anyway." Otto said, referring to the henchmen in the room he was using to learn more information on SHIELD.

"Do you know a man named Wilson Fisk?"

"I've never met him personally, but I know more about him than the average person. He's the largest crime lord in New York, possibly in the whole world. Fisk has high ambitions to have control over not just New York, but the whole country. He wants to be president of the United States. It will never work. Not while we're around." Otto Octavius told me, before actually turning to look at me. Smug prick. "Why do you care about Wilson Fisk anyway? He has nothing to do with our operations here."

"I was just curious. Looks like some "Spider-Man" and a crazy cat lady were fucking with his shit last night." I told Otto, hiding my ulterior motives from him. I've come to learn people typically think of my father as a horrible liar. That's not actually the case. My Uncle is able to catch him in his lies, but that's just because they know each other so damn well. Other than Thor, my father can fool a room full of people into believing whatever he wants them to. That gift was hereditary, and although I'm not nearly as good, I have no tells. Even a genius can't break through my act. "Also, why are there so many spider people? That's three I've met already and I've been here for a very short amount of time."
