Chapter 3

PURPLE DIAMOND'S POV:

"First, This Is Where Your Famethysts Will Be Stationed."

"Pink's Old Zoo.."

Blue spoke for the first time in the entire tour in a low whisper.

"Old Zoo?"

I Spoke In Confusion.

"The Human Zoo. That's what we called it. I believe this would be the perfect time to explain your predeccesor's legacy since the peridots were desperate to finish the project that lead to your emergence, and hence, did not have time to code all of the information neccesary about pink diamond."

White explained.

"Blue. Yellow."

White asked the other two diamonds.

"Could any of your pearls get a holographic screen?"

"Mine Could."

Blue replied.

Blue Pearl Silently Obeyed, Giving over a holographic screen shaped like a planet.

Sighing, white began to tell the short legacy of pink diamond.

"Pink Diamond Wasn't Very Much Different From Any Other Diamond. Atleast at first. but..in terms of behavior, she was wildly different than yellow and blue. She was..childish. She threw tantrums. She..cracked her first pearl. Your pearl. She was overfriendly, informal..I don't know why, but she always seemed to be solely fixated on getting a colony ever since she saw yellow's. she said its because she wants to be like us. But we gave her everything. so why would she still want to be like us? Why would she want so much responsibility?"

White sighed.

"I suppose Im not fit to understand, I barely saw her after her emergence. you could ask blue. she was the closest to pink. Now, ignoring my unnecesary commentary, we eventually gave into her demands, hoping the responsibility of a colony would force her to mature, and hence, end all of the previous issues she had in the past. Such as..her destructive abilitys. Her first pearl, your pearl, was cracked due to being too close during her destructive tantrums. When we gave her a colony, we hoped it'd be the end of all that. But..in the end, we ended up being her own demise. She warned us about the rebels. we dismissed her. now..she paid the price."

Blue frowned upon white's mention of how they contributed to pink's demise. one wrong decision that sealed pink's fate.

Blue still felt guilty about it.

I looked towards my pearl, who frowned aswell, flinching at the mention of her..'Incident'.

I Wanted To Comfort Her, But such a thing would be improper to do in-front of the diamonds.

I could do that in my chambers, but not here.

"Pink Did Her Best To De-motivate the rebels, to make them give up, she laughed at the defective quartz's attempts to convince her to give up her own colony for the sake of morality, whatever that is. She contacted us. we sent elite gems. yet they somehow spread out. One thing for sure, we'll never let a rebellion go for as long as it did as the crystal gems ever again. And you, starlight, will inherit this planet. The Earth. Pink's old planet. You'll show these rebels their efforts were fruitless. that our authority will still rise. I believe aslong as we don't repeat our mistakes with you, you'll do a wonderful job of turning earth into a colony. Blue has been practically drooling to get the shards of the rebels, and to use the earth's resources."

White said, holding up my chin.

"We even made use of those shards. We call it the cluster. But I Believe we should talk about that after the tour. Now, Blue, go fetch your agate. have purple agate take her place. Famethysts, You know your stations."
