PURPLE DIAMOND'S POV:

I Sighed As I Entered My Chambers. They weren't my superiors, but I'd stopped caring about 'Using The Right Terms' Now that the diamonds were gone. Why did they feel as if they had to restrict what words I could use?

Regardless, as white had said, I had much to learn. and that was more important over my pettiness about a single term.

"I Need Something To Sit On."

Just as I sat on the floor, something rose beneath me.

"What.."

"Those were the pebbles, my diamond. all diamonds have pebbles. their lowest gems in the gem hierachy. even lower than us pearls. They make all of the furniture in homeworld. they can also make whatever you ask them to build. such as the chair you requested."

Pearl explained.

"I..See. Well, in that case,"

I Said brightening up:

"I Want..A Bed!"

The pebbles made a bed.

"My room still looks empty. I want..a flower pot! A Table! Decorations!"

And it continued all night long, removing and making furniture until the sun rose, which I didn't even notice until my pearl pointed it out.

"My diamond..the light hour is here..I believe your room is good enough. I think we should focus on teaching you about essential things relating to the diamonds and your colony."

I Sighed.

"Well, fun's over. Still, you can just call me Purple. And without The 'My' Please. It sounds..weird to me."

Pearl smiled.

"Of course, purple..although the name just sounds weird itself."

Pearl said, being more open with her new owner, and being reminded of pink through purple's behavior.

sometimes, she even sounded so much like her..playing the stupidest of games for the sake of it, not wanting to be called formal names, or even act formal.

it didn't even feel like she was under a new owner. it was more like she had returned to old times. but pearl knew better than to dwell on the past like blue. if she did the same, she would never move on. She needed to understand purple was her own person. even if just sometimes she was similiar to pink, she was not pink. she was purple diamond.

She was her own person. She only hoped blue would come to accept the same too. She didn't want her new owner to suffer because of a role she was forced into.

even if she wasn't pink, she was determined to not let the diamonds crush her spirit like they had tried to do with pink. and she certainly didn't want her to end up in the tower. she was already scared at the thought of a cycle being created out of it.

regardless, she was determined to do her best. and educating her diamond and making sure their relationship was atleast decent, even if it wasn't a friend-ship like with pink, was the best first step she could take.

"So..Which should we educate you about first Purple? Important Items, Your duties.."

"Important items. specifically because of the communicator."

"very well then, my diamond."

Pearl replied, taking out a diamond-shaped, multi-colored stone.

"This allows you to connect to the exclusive diamond servers, allowing you to contact a diamond. it can also randomly activate if a diamond decides to call you by herself. the screen will be colored according to the diamond. Blue if you are contacting blue diamond, yellow if you are contacting yellow diamond, and white if you are contacting white diamond. I believe it is simple enough, and if your court contacts you, the same will apply to you."
