~~Chapter 17~~
One year later
Layla's POV
It's been a whole year since I got back together with Blake, and it was the best decision I ever made.
Anyway today I'm on a date with Blake. We are walking along the beach with my head on his shoulder, while he held me tightly. As the sun was setting I began to shiver, and asked Blake if I could have his jacket. And as he took it took it off, he paused and told me. "You should of brought your own jacket, because I'll be cold if I take my jacket off." He said worriedly.
"Please Blake, I'm really cold." I whispered. He nodded and placed his jacket onto my shoulders. I felt a box in one of the pockets hitting me in the side. I dug my hand into the pocket to feel a little box. I took it out, looking at the black velvet box.
"Blake what's this?" I replaced my smile with most likely a very confused one. "This is why I didn't want to give her the jacket I'm such an idiot." He murmured to himself. He took the box out of my hand. And got down on one knee, and opened the box. I put my hands over my mouth otherwise I would be squealing.
"Layla will you marry me?" He smiled, the one that I fell in love with.
"Yes." I whispered
He slid the ring on my finger with ease, he got off his knee. He picked me off the air as I placed my hands onto his shoulder to make it slightly easier for him. And he spun us around. I probably had the goofiest grin on my face right now, but I didn't really care.
We were happy and no one could take it away from us.
