Monica is at the side
~~chapter 3~~
Layla's POV
Moni starts to click her fingers in front of my face, wanting me to respond. So she is waiting impatiently for an answer. I noticed that both her hands are now occupied with our phones, but she puts mine down and starts fiddling with hers. "What are you trying to do torture me?" She asked still waiting for an answer, that I thought I would never tell anyone. "I don't know, I do like him I guess but I don't know. If we did get back together, and something happened, I don't think I,d be able to handle it." I say quietly.
I know I said I hate all guys, but Blake means so much to me, it's like he has a special effect on me that no one has. I see Monica put her phone to her ear and said into it, "did you get that? I'll see you soon bye." I didn't know what she was talking about, and to be honest I didn't want to know.
We now start to have a causal conversation, until we're interrupted by a knock on the front door. We both head for door, but before I open it she sits herself on the couch as if she was waiting for something interesting to happen. I opened the door in a flash. I couldn't see who it was, because the moment I opened the door. They grabbed me and pulled me closer to him, and he crashed his lips onto mine. I was really tensed up thinking there's a stranger kissing me. Although I knew these lips anywhere, it was Blake. Once I realised who it was I relaxed and put my arms around his neck starting to tangle my hands in his hair. It was just like old times, no matter what I felt the sparks between us, just like I used too.
We pulled our lips away a few centimetres, resting our foreheads against one another. "Layla, you know how I feel about you, it's up to you." He says.
My face softens a little when he said that. I pulled away to look at Monica for support i guess, and she gives me the look that's means you can do it, tell him. I turned back to look into his vibrant blue eyes and i said, "I guess we can give it a go." When I said that to him I couldn't stop smiling, it was like someone shoved a coat hanger in my mouth. "Yeah, I knew you' day that." He says, I just stare at him blankly, and then turn to face Monica again. "Did you record what I said and then send it to him?" I asked. "Yep, I knew you would never go up to him and tell him how you actually feel. So I medalled. Also I made a few changes to your phone as well, I hope you like it." Monica said simply, not caring that I might hurt her.
"You did what to my phone exactly." i muttered as i was running upstairs to grab it. I looked at it, she changed my background, a few of my contacts and few other things I don't even want to mention. "Monica Charlotte Taylor." I say running back downstairs as fast as I could, so I could hurt my best friend.
Blake's POV
I couldn't help but chuckle at Layla. She was really cute when she was angry, which is such a turn on. When she came back downstairs, I wrapped me arms around her waist so she wouldn't attack Monica. "Babe it's ok calm down." I say and started to kiss her neck, and she began laughing. For some reason whenever I kissed her neck she started giggling, I guess she must be very ticklish on her neck. "Ok babe you feel calm now?" I ask her, seeing a smile on her face now. "Yeah, I guess all I need is one of your kisses to clam me down." She smiles cheekily.
"Now what did Monica do?" I ask her. I see Layla now giving Monica the death glare, she pasted me her phone, and put it to the contacts. I start to chuckle, "So I am the sexiest guy alive! I know I am baby, never thought you would freak out about it though." I say while smirking. "Well someone thinks too much of himself. She posted a few things and changed the background too." She mutters. "Well you are the most beautiful girl, I've ever seen." I say whispering in her ear. She turns away to look at my face her cheeks were red absolutely from blushing, her soft brown eyes were hidden behind her glasses but you could still see them sparkle, she does look truly beautiful.
"So Layla." I start to say but I'm cut off, "Blake, I know where your going with this. Yes I will be your girlfriend again, but this time please don't hurt me." She said in a whisper so no one but me could hear it besides me. "Wouldn't dream of it." It's not like i was going to make the same mistake twice. "Now how about a kiss" I say whilst smiling. She smiles at me too, we start leaning in so we can kiss.
Our lips crash onto each others, and we started to have this most passionate kiss we've ever done together. We were a second into our kiss when we were interrupted by 3 teenage girls which are Layla's friends and a man that I've never met before.
Layla's POV
As Blake and I pulled away from each other because, four people interrupted us, three of them are my friends and I have a hunch who the other one is. Blake puts his arm around my waist, and I do the same.
"Hi Layla, how are you?" The man asked me. "Leave." I said to him in a cold voice, remembering what he did to me. He stays still, not moving an inch. "You need to leave now," I say to him gesturing my hand at the open door. "No, I'm not going anywhere until I talk to you!" He says with a pissed off tone. "You want to talk now, you had the last eleven years to do that, so why do you want to do it now?" i left him standing there speechless. "you walked out on me, now thats what i going to do to you now. Blake, Daniella, Monica and Melissa I'll see you later, you better not be here when I come back." I growled at him.
I let go of Blake, and headed out the door trying to think where to go and what I was going to do. I was turned around by a firm hand, pulling me into a hug. "Lays whose that man?" Blake asked. I try to stay strong, but I can't so I just sink my head in Blake's shirt and start crying. "Is that man your dad that left you eleven years ago." He asks me looking quite concerned. I look him in the eyes and nod, I lost my ability to speak because I was so upset.
"Babe, I think you should go back home and sleep on it. I know he abandoned you when you were six, but his your dad." He said. "I know his my dad, I can't trust him. He was barely ever there when I needed him."I say, I begin to sigh and I remembered when he was never there for me. He was never a loving parent, I was nothing to him.
*Flash back*
"Daddy you missed my gymnastic final competition." I say with so much disappointment in my voice.
"Well Layla, watching tv is much more important then a stupid gymnastics competition. What did you come, last?" He asked me being really serious.
"No actually daddy I came equal second." I said proudly, remembering how hard I worked to achieve it.
"Why didn't you come first, you're pathetic. I don't pay a lot of money for you to do it, when you suck at it." He said plainly.
"No actually daddy, you don't pay for it mummy does because she has money on her credit card unlike you." I say in a small voice.
"What so you think your better than me, just because I'm unemployed doesn't mean I don't do things around here, you loser." He grumbled at me.
"Daddy you don't do anything around here, mummy and I do because you are out drinking." I mumble under my breath.
"Your nothing but a pathetic loser around here Layla. Let me get some things straight, you are the worst gymnast I have ever met, you will never accomplish your dreams, and your just another pitfall loser." He yells at me. I started to cry, because It felt like someone crushed my heart, and I couldn't believe my dad would say that to his five year old daughter.
*End of flashback*
Layla's POV
