Hey everyone this is the prom chapter. Sorry I didn't really know what to write about, because I'm only in year 8 so of course I haven't had a prom before.
Anyway I still hope you like the chapter.
P.S this chapter is unedited because I wanted to surprise my editor with this chapter.

~~Chapter 10~~
When I arrived at school this morning, the new line of gossip was we are having prom in three weeks. I never been to a dance before, so I don't know what they're like. I don't have a lot of free time, so I don't bother to go. Also I think school dances are overrated. But Blake told me that it's a big thing to go to senior prom, and he wouldn't let me not go. All the girls are freaking out because they had such short notice about it. Over dramatic much.
I don't really want to go but I promised Blake and my friends that I would go. Daniella said we were getting our dresses tonight, I agreed that I would go dress shopping but that meant for me to finish gym very late.
The day went by quickly, and we all the girls were in the car chatting. Casey is everyone friend in our group now. When we arrived at the mall all the girls except me were giggling and having a good time. I couldn't help my mind wonder about my letter I was lucky enough to receive.
We walk into a random dress shop, I search the racks for an hour trying to find something amazing. I search for another five minutes to land my eyes on a green dress, I don't know how I missed it all this time. I just hope it looks this good on, I walk towards the changing rooms to try it on. Everyone else already had theirs, and they were helping me trying to find one. All the ones they found didn't look appealing so I said no, they all said I was picky.
I was still in the changing room looking at myself by the mirror, I had defiantly found my dress. "Guys, i found the dress." I called out to them. "Come on we want to see it!" They all said in unison. I walk out of the changing room, I look at them with their mouths wide open. "Layla, Blake's going to love you in this dress."Moni squealed. "How do you always find the dress that's going to make all the guys want to be with you." Casey said.
I looked at myself through the mirror again, my dress was strapless, a bit poofy from the waist down. The top part was tight enough to see my curves and it makes my boobs look big. Down the front it had a silver decoration on it. My whole dress looked amazing, I just hoped it wouldn't cost a lot.
We had gotten shoes as well, I got black strappy heels. And I already had my necklace and earrings in mind, they were at home. I told the others that I had to go to training, and they said they would just catch a bus home because they weren't finished yet. I get to gym at six thirty, which meant I would finish around 12:30 but I couldn't stay that late. So I would be leaving at 11.
I get home sweaty and tired, I had to make two trips from my car to my room. The first time was because I needed to bring my gym and school bag in, and the second trip was bringing in the dress and shoes. When I carefully put my dress away, I flop onto my bed falling asleep instantly. At least it was a Saturday tomorrow, so I could sleep in.
