A/N Another one of my OTPs! I'm bored, so, yeah.
--Sundew's POV--
Sundew slipped out of her hut, glancing around, ears pricked. She carefully adjusted the sacks of stuff on her back and tried not to squeal with excitement. Today was the day she was secretly moving to the SapWing village!
With Willow, no less. Sundew felt a blush creeping up her snout as she hurried along, thinking of her girlfriend. She arrived at the little pool where she'd met Willow, and saw her waiting on the other side.
"Willow!" she whisper-shouted, launching herself at the dark-green dappled LeafWing. Willow laughed and hugged her tightly.
"Ready to move in with me?" she murmured into Sundew's neck.
"Heck yeah!" Sundew said excitedly. "I've been waiting for this moment MY WHOLE LIFE!"
Willow detached herself from Sundew and picked up one of her bags. "Let's go, then!"
--Timeskip to in the SapWing village--
As always, Sundew was awed by the peaceful beauty of the SapWing village. A few lone stars sparkled in the sky, and the faint pinkish tinge on the horizon announced the dawn.
Willow led Sundew to her little hut, decorated with pale purple wisteria and ivy. A tiny flamesilk lamp (probably a gift from Luna or Blue) glowed softly on the front porch.
She carefully opened the door and an older LeafWing looked up from his books. "Eh? Who's there?"
"It's just me, dad," Willow said, rolling her eyes affectionately. "And my girlfriend Sundew. Remember, I told you yesterday she was moving in with us?"
"Right," Willow's dad said. "Well, don't stay up too late."
"We won't!" Willow called, leading Sundew up the narrow, winding staircase to a little loft. Sundew put down her stuff and looked around. Little luminous mushrooms grew out of the walls, bathing the room in peaceful blue light. There were several large windows and plants everywhere. Willow sat down on her bed and beckoned Sundew over. They curled up together and Willow gave Sundew a kiss.
"We still have a couple hours of sleep left," laughed Sundew.
"Alright." Willow smiled.
They both fell into a peaceful sleep.
