"I don't even want to know where you're coming from." Terricka said.
"Then don't ask." He said as he walked over to her vehicle. "Whats wrong with it?"
"I was at the red light and it started making these weird ass noises. So I pulled over and from then it wouldn't start back up."
"You have gas?"
"Yes."
"You couldn't have called triple A?" He said jokingly.
"Why pay for triple A when you're here."
"Whatever, Pop the hood."
"My guess, its the stupid transition or whatever its called." She said, as she made her way inside of the car.
"Transmission?"
"You know what I mean."
"I doubt it, start it up and let me see what the sound sounds like."
Noah moved back from the car as she cranked it, allowing the sound that she was talking about to be heard.
"Battery must be dead." He said.
"Thats it?"
"Yeah."
"Do you have a jumper cable?"
"Nope, guess you got to Call triple A anyways." He jokingly said.
"Stop playing, what mechanic doesn't have a pair of jumper cables in their car."
"This mechanic."
"Be for real."
"Fine, but you got to buy me something to eat for all my hard work." He said, half way serious.
"Boy whatever."
༄
"When I said buy me something to eat, I expected Apple bee's or, Chilli's, not McDonald's. " Noah said.
"Its 1 in the morning, I doubt any of those places are open right now."
"Could've at least gotten me a large fry."
"Nigga."
Noah laughed and said, "I'm just bull shittin'."
"I didn't know you had a sense of humor."
"Please, I'm the funniest nigga I know."
"I doubt that but whatever keeps you sane." Terricka said, as she took a sip from her milkshake.
"Not to be conceited—"
"You are always conceited but continue." She said cutting him off.
"I don't even want to say it anymore."
"It's not that serious."
"Nah, I'm going to keep it to myself."
"What sign are you?"
"Don't start."
"What?" She said, before laughing.
"I don't have time for that astrology shit right now. "
"What's wrong with it."
"You astrology mothefuckers give me a head ache. Swear y'all know somebody from a couple stars in the sky."
Terricka shook her head and said, "That's not how it works."
"You have to admit the signs are kind of accurate to the people." She said.
