Today was a peaceful day for Terricka. She loved to spend her birthdays like this.

Just peace and quiet.

Although, part of the reason was because she'd party a little bit too much in LA, but that was besides the point.

Terricka picked up the gift she'd gotten from Essence and Jason, and decided to unravel it. Underneath the wrapping paper, a diamond necklace.

"Oh my god." She said.

The necklace had to cost a fortune, but with Jason's bank account she wasn't surprised.

She quickly sent a text to the both of them, thanking them for her gift and showing her appreciation.

Before she could respond, a knock sent to her door frightened her.

She quickly went over to the door and looked through her peephole. She saw nothing and against her better judgment, she decided to open the door and see what it was.

She gasped as she picked the bouquet of roses off of the ground, followed by the painting she picked our, back at Dontae's gallery.

She immediately knew the gifts were from him.

She closed the door and carefully set the painting on her counter, before she pecked through her roses, looking for some type of note.

Terricka smiled brightly as she read the cute little note. She had honestly forgotten about her little deal with Dontae.

And It was sweet that he remembered her birthday, given that she only told him about it once.

Terricka picked her phone and immediately went to Dontae's contact. I text wouldn't suffice, she wanted him to her the appreciation in her voice when she thanked him.

If only, he could see it on her face right now.

"Hello?" He said, as he answered the phone.

"Hey, thank you for the roses, I love them."

"I'm glad you do, you seem like a flowers type of girl." He said.

"I am, I love flowers." She said.

Her house was covered with different kinds of flowers.

"I had almost forgotten to give you your painting. I figured it'd be best to give it to you on your birthday."

"Well thank you, for everything. I'm actually kind of surprised you remembered my birthday."
