Today was Essence's rehearsal for her wedding, which meant she would have to finally face Noah....again. It wasn't ideal and in her opinion it was far too soon to face him.

Essence wanted the bride's maids and groom's men to learn a silly little dance for the after party. Of course the dance wasn't silly to Essence, it was tradition, and she was going to make sure everyone participated whether they liked it or not.

Terricka clicked off her phone and shook her head. She definitely didn't want to see Noah, but it seems as though she didn't have a choice.

As she finished up her morning run, she couldn't help but think about what led to this moment and how everything that happened was her fault.

She had potentially ruined their friendship and lost out on a lover. She still felt a little embarrassed and the thought of facing rejection again wasn't on her list of things to do today.

But unfortunately, it was.

Taking a few days away from from her feelings had been doing more harm than good. Although Terricka probably couldn't tell or see it yet, the time she spent apart from Noah was only making her feelings grow stronger.

She wanted this to be a phase or a fling, but it seemed like this silly little crush wasn't planning on leaving any time soon.

She quickly shot Essence a text back, reassuring her that she would be on time, before entering her house.

she quickly showered and put on some breathable but cute clothes, in preparation for the eventful evening that was yet to come.

Essence said that they'd be offering drinks at the studio, so she decided to take an uber.

On her way there, her mother decided to give hey a call.

"Hey Mommy." She said, as she answered the phone.

"Hey what you doing, are you busy?"

"I'm heading to Essence little dance rehearsal thing."

"Oh she was serious about that?"

"Yup, she was dead serious."

"Well I'll leave you too it then."

"Did you have something you wanted to talk to me about."

"Yes but, it can wait."

"I have a little bit of time, I have about 20 minutes before I'll get there."

"No actually—I rather tell you this in person."

"Okay...?"

"Yea so, have fun."

"Okay, bye." Terricka said before hanging up the phone.

Terricka wondered what was so important that had to be told in person.

She honestly couldn't bare any bad news right bow and she was hoping it was something good.

Essence crossed her arms and said, "Who else are we waiting on?"

"Relax babe, everyone is here." Jason said.

"No everyone is not here, where is Noah?"

"I'm here. You didn't tell me what floor you was on." He said, as he dapped up Jason.
