It was already half past nine in the morning when they arrived to get me. I was sitting beside Claude listening to his stories when Friday informed us that there was someone looking for me.
"Are you leaving?" Claude asked.
"I have to, buddy. I still have something to do. Businesses to take care of." I replied, patting his head.
"Can you visit me? Or can I visit you...?" He asked.
A smile appeared on my lips as I caressed his face, he immediately leaned towards my touch and closed his eyes.
"Of course." I replied.
"That's good enough for me." He muttered, earning a chuckle from me.
"Alright. Bye for now, champ." I said, raising my eyebrow as he held my hand.
"I want to say my goodbye to you." He answered.
"Okay." I mumbled and let him hold my hand as Friday guided us towards the outside.
There, a black car stopped in front, Lynn was to go out followed by Ava who was looking at me worriedly. My eyes widened as I saw Frederick coming out of the car.
As our eyes met, a smile instantly appeared on his lips. Shaking my head and chuckling. I looked down and saw Claude staring at Frederick.
I kneeled down to match his height and to say my goodbye. He immediately averted his eyes from Frederick and looked at me.
Claude launched himself towards me, engulfing me in a hug which I almost lost my balance. A laugh escapes my lips as I hug him back.
"Be careful." He whispered.
"I will." I replied as he hesitatingly let go of me.
Standing up, furrowing my eyebrows as I saw everyone.
"Thank you for letting me stay and for your hospitality." I said, giving them a subtle nod.
"You're welcome." Rogers answered.
A hand landed on my waist, looking to my side it was Frederick, a smile was plastered on his face, but I know him very well that behind those smiles is his thirst to kill all of them.
"Thank you for taking care of Davia." He said and pulled me closer to him.
"No problem. Having a beautiful guest was a refreshment to our eyes." Stark replied with a smirk.
"It won't happen again." Frederick stated.
"Then you should take care of her. Hate to see someone steal her from me, if I were you." Stark countered.
Feeling his hold tightened, "Thank you for your advice, but I assure you that no one can steal her from me." Frederick replied, "And if anyone does..." He paused and glared at Stark.
"I will make sure it won't get to see another day." Frederick said.
Placing a hand on his chest, instantly earning Frederick's attention, the glare instantly vanished and a smile replaced his scowl.
"What is it, dear?" He asked, worriedly, "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" He added.
Shaking my head, "No, but I prefer if we leave now. I want to rest and go back home." I replied.
Frederick nodded his head and looked back at them, "Excuse us." He said.
A gasp escaped my lips as he swiftly carried me in his arms, earning a chuckle from him as he walked towards the car and carefully went inside.
"Such a show off." I mumbled, Frederick laughed and placed a kiss on my temple.
"Sleep first, mi vida. I'll wake you up when we get there." He said.
