Luna X Ginny:

The red-haired girl slowly walked through the school towards the Quidditch pitch. She went to the locker room and changed her school uniform to gym clothes. When she went outside with the broom, the others were already waiting for her.

"Now that everyone's here, we can get started," Harry said loudly to get over the gossip. "Shut it!" the Gryffindor cried out reflexively. How she hated it when you didn't listen. The group fell silent. "Thank you," the captain said to the Weasley. She smiled at him, then looked back down at the chicken pile of Quiddich players.

After discussing strategies, they took to the air and practiced with each other. Ginny caught the Quaffle and flew along the gang, matching Angelina. Dropping her gaze to the auditorium, she saw a Luna with a dreamy look. She slowly followed what was happening with her eyes. Distracted by the blonde girl, she took the Bludger and fell off the broom. She landed hard on a bench. Luna was with her immediately. Luna grabbed her under the arm and helped her up.

"We're going to Pomfrey's," she told Harry calmly. He looked after the two girls who were going away. Then he continued the training. In the hospital wing but still in worry for his best friends sister, Luna placed the wounded girl on a gurney. Madam Pomfrey came running and bandaged her arm after healing the bones. "Thanks Luna" Ginny murmured concerned.

Luna hugged her. "I liked helping you." She returned the hug, which lasted a long time. The Rawenclaw took Ginny by the hand. The girls smiled at each other and left the hospital wing. Together they sat down in the courtyard and started a round of magic chess. "The winner can ask the loser something, he has to answer truthfully ok?" Luna agreed with a smile.

After some time, Luna checkmates Ginny. She reached up and placed her hand gently on the Gryffindor's cheek. She smiled at her and took her hand in hers.

"Do you love me like I do love you?"

the blonde asked with a dreamy look on her lips. After less than a minute, Ginny laid her lips on Luna's.

This was answer enough.

Sometimes love didn't need words. And so it was with them. Together they went to a tree by the lake and sat down together under it. Ginny hugged the blond girl and kissed the top of her head. The sun was setting, bathing them in a beautiful evening pink.
