"No Dora! I can not do this! what if i hurt you Or even kill you?"
I kept thinking about the words that changed my life. I sat on the sofa crying. It wasn't even long ago that he was here. Now I was alone. Sitting at home with little teddy and Remus was gone.
The tears slowly dried up and I got up. Little teddy started crying and I hugged him. It was his son. I will take care of him. I will not leave him alone like his father did. When he calmed down I put him back. "How can you be so stupid Dora?" he had meant "I'm a monster" I have shook my head.
I tried to make it clear that he was the most wonderful man in the world. But he hadn't listened to me.
Why should he.
He thought no one could love him, no one saw a human in him.
But it wasn't like that.
He was Remus Lupin.
Character of gold, mind like an eagle, courage like a lion.
Even if he transformed on a full moon, it was still my Remus. I was walking past the apartment door to go into the bedroom when, by chance, I caught a glimpse through the spy hole.
I yanked open the door. Strong arms wrapped around me. "I talked to Harry," he explained, embarrassed, "He made it clear to me that I love you Dora, that I can't live without you and that you and little Teddy are the meaning of my life. What a It was a coward to leave you. Dora! Please forgive me" Tears started again. tears of joy.
I nodded and kissed him. He replied. "I'm sorry Dora" those whispered words made my heart weep with joy and love.
