"Cygnus, Camille, Cipher! Wake up! It's time for breakfast!" I hear my mother shouting from downstairs.
"Do we have to?" My brother, Cipher, yells down.
"Yes!" Mother replies.
I sit up and search for my clothes. I find them on Cipher's side of our room. How they got there I'm not quite sure.
I make my way to the bathroom, I've always been uncomfortable changing in front of anyone, but for some reason especially my brother. And that only got worse once I got my top surgery. As happy as it made me, I'm self conscious of the scars. Maybe I'll get them tattooed when I turn 18 as a birthday present to myself.
I pull on my jeans and my t-shirt, but just then I realized I forgot my jacket in my room.
"Goddamnit" I whisper under my breath, opening the bathroom door. "Ci? You dressed yet?"
"Yeah."
I walk into our bedroom to find my brother lounging on his bed in his pajamas scrolling on his phone.
"Dude," I say, "Mom's going to be pissed if you don't get up."
"Yeah, I know."

"So," Dominyk, my best friend since childhood, said, "Cipher got completely destroyed because he didn't get out of bed this morning?"
"Yep, and I even explained that mom was gonna be pissed and he ignored me."
"Sounds like Cipher." Dominyk laughed.
We were sitting in Dom's room, just because I wanted out of the house while my brother got chewed out by my mother.
"Dom!" Dom's father called
"Yeah, Dad?"
"Can you come here for a second? Bring Cygnus too!"
