Chapter 9

Axel's POV

Senden, um Mich schicksal! Submit to me Cinniúint.' Wächter growls out.

'Nie Never ' Cinninúint growls back.

I move to the left and prepare to round house kick her side. As I move she watches, plotting and planing. I land the kick and it knocks her across the field. She flips mid air and comes back running full force, punches me across the face . I slide backwards, I jump and punch back making her dig her feet into the dirt. She growls and sends a quick jab to my ribs.
A couple snap making me groan in pain, her eyes soften for a split second the harden again.

She kicks out again and I fall backwards on my back. She laughs at me and says.

'Ist das alles, was Sie bekam Alpha? Is that all you got Alpha?'

Releasing a growl, I rise to my feet and launch myself at her. I throw punch after punch while she dodges left and right.

'Sie brauchen, um schritt bis Sie ihr spiel Kamerad. You need to step up your game, Mate.' She taunts. She steps out of my reach and roundhouse kicks me into a tree.

'First one to be knocked out of bounds loses.' Bo says from the Sidelines. Jakob translates for knowing my wolf doesn't understand him. 'Erste, die, außer halb der Grenzen, gestoßen, verliert.'

We both growl in understanding, I look at my feet and see the edge of the ring. She grins and runs at me full force again to send me over. She leaps and aims a kick at my head. I dodge but she knew I would so a punch to my already broken ribs comes out of no where.

I let out a scream of pain and she immediately gains control over Cinniúint and kneels at my side.

'AXEL!! Axel bitte-please!! Im so so sorry!' She cries.

'Don't---Cry----Kitten---Please! Käztchen---Weine---nicht---bitte!' I say in between breaths. I must of punctured a lung.

'Schreib mir doch nicht Axel! Ich brauche dich! Don't leave me Axel! I need you!' She cries into my shoulder. I hear the pack doctor come running up and Jayden being pulled away. I slip into a deep sleep, the last thing I hear is 'Axel!' from my mate.

Jayden' s POV

(After Axel passed out)

I sit outside Axel's room too scared to go in. I almost killed my mate. What was I thinking? He's my other half, how could I. Sobbing into my hands in shame.

Bo left to tend to paperwork. Jays left to help Bo and Jakob is sitting next to me staring at the door that hides his brother from our eyes.

The door opens and the doctor steps out.
'He's going to alright Alpha. He's asking for you.' He says to Jakob. He nods and leaves to his brothers side.

I head towards the exit drying my tears away, putting my Alpha face on. As I reach for the door knob, Jakob calls me back.

'Jayden, He wants to see you' I turn back and shake my head.

'I can't be around him. I'm a danger to him besides I have to get back to the pack.' With that I leave.

Axel's POV
Waking up, I look around for Jayden but instead I see the doctor.

'Welcome back to the land of living Alpha.' He says checking me out.

'Vhere's Jayden?' I ask confused.

'She's outside waiting.' He leaves and my brother enters.

'Du wolltest mich Alpha? You asked for me Alpha?' He asks.

'Ja, wo ist mein Kumpel? Yes where's my mate?' I ask again.

'Im Flur. In the hallway.' He says opening the door. He steps out and calls her 'Jayden, He vants zu see jou.' He calls down the hall.

I can't hear her reply but by the look on his face it wasn't good. Why does everything have to be so hard?
