Jayden's pov

6 Months earlier

05:00am

Second Lieutenant has decided to wake up the entire troop at the ungodly hour of 0500. One thing you must know, I'm not a morning person. Most would ask why join the Marine corps then, well I joined because my father doesn't believe I'm capable of running the pack.

Yes I'm a werewolf that's going thru human Marine boot camp. I'm doing this to prove that I'm able of being alpha when he retires in 2 years.

I only have 2 more months left of boot camp then it's back to Red Moon Falls.

"Sergeant Major, do you plan on joining us today?"
Second asked. He's the only werewolf here besides me, he's a gamma for his pack. Even with the low rank compared to me he treats me just like the humans.
"Sir Yes Sir"
I salute as I grab my boots.

2 hours later
After running around the base, which is 15 acres of nothing but rugged terrain. We finally make it back to the mess hall for breakfast. I loaded up my play full of eggs, bread, and bacon. With my plate full I head towards my troop who has claimed the biggest table here. With a around I see grey walls, tables in rows, a buffet line full of food, and more troops coming in from training.

There are 300 Marines here for training. We all have reason for being here but somehow we all became a family.

Here is like my second home away from the pack. Being 1 of 3 women on base is hard, especially with the horny men here.
I'm the youngest recruit as well but I act like I'm older.

Sitting down to eat when corporal James says
"Look what the cat dragged in."
With those words everyone turns towards the front doors. The man standing there is obviously a werewolf more importantly a beta at that.

Without knowingly I just met my mates' beta/brother...............
