the cleric and the paladin

after long hours of steve sighs and robin's protesting eddie's campaign finally ended leaving half the group asleep in his metal hut.

"hey, i'm gonna head out, but you all can stay and lounge for as long as you need." eddie sat up from his spot and gave steve a wink before crawling out the door.

"okay..." steve noted before turning to the kids. "alright!" steve clapped "time to go home"

"steve, they're all asleep." robin chuckled

"so it appears." steve bit his lip before jostling dustin's shoulder. "hey! dustin!"

"...what?" dustin groaned, his head dropping from lucas' shoulder.

"it's time to go home buddy." steve informed, his lips pressed into a thin line.

"mmm fine" dustin sat up fully then began to shake lucas awake.

"hey! what the hell man?" lucas rubbed his eyes noticing his surroundings.

"it's time to go babies!" steve ducked his head crouching out the door while robin woke the rest of them.

"will! wake up!" robin rasped shaking him lightly, the sleepy boy's head resting on mike's shoulder.

will's eyes blinked open before fully waking up. "how long did i sleep?"

"not long, but it's time to get you two home."

"okay" will smiled

"i'll be right outside." robin responded ducking her head before walking out the door.

"hey mike?" will asked watching mike's eyes begin to flutter open.

"will?" mike lifted his head noticing they still remained in eddie's shack.

"it's time to go home." will informed

"i'm too tired to get up" mike complained drooping his head onto will.

"i know, but once we get back to your house we can sleep." will smiled taking mike's hand in his.

"mmm fine" mike looked up at will admiring his features. "you look cute when you're sleepy."

will's face retorted fighting his blushing before placing his free hand on the side of mike's face. "no i don't! i look like an old man who doesn't know what year it is." will laughed.

"that is so not true." mike chuckled

"hey, lovebirds!" robin tucked her head through the door. "i hate to interrupt, but we really gotta go, steve is freaking out."

"oh sorry! we're coming." will sat up and headed for the door.

"wait! will!" will turned his head to see mike coming in for a quick kiss. he tilted his head before their lips met. it was a short kiss, but it felt better than anything. will moved his hands up to mike's hair before the two pulled away admiring each other's flustered faces.

"now we're coming, robin!" mike informed without turning from will's gaze.

will smiled blushing furiously before heading out the door after mike. robin pulled will's sleeve tugging him aside from mike. "smooth." robin winked.

"robin!" will blushed pulling his arm away. "you didn't see anything." will slyly smiled before catching back up to mike.

"what was that about?" mike asked

"nothing." will smiled turning his head back to robin who was holding her hands up and making kissy noises. "yup, nothing."

"so besides sleeping what else do you wanna do? ...while you stay." mike questioned looking to will for answer.
