Chapter 15- Fences

I ran out of the gym. Fast.

As soon as I felt the cool breeze I looked around frantically. Searching for a sign. Anything. And then I noticed.

There was a figure sitting on the ground against the fencing for the baseball field. Nik.

I started to run towards him. I had to get to him. I had to make sure he was okay.

And what I saw terrified me.

Nik was on the ground, sitting in a little ball crying... Bleeding. There was a piece of the fence that was bent,  covered in blood

He had cut his arm.

I kneel down beside him. It was bad, but he wouldn't let me get his arm to help him.

I step back and get out my phone. I hear the tell tale rings and then...

"911 what's your emergency?"

"Yes, I need an ambulance immediately my... my brother is bleeding. Its a serious cut up his arm, we need help now!"

"I'm sending an ambulance now, where are you?"

"We are outside of the Carroll County High School on Highland Avenue. We're sitting by the baseball field."

"Thank you for calling, help is coming now."

I then dial Alexis and tell her the situation, she informed me that Al was on the bench and that she was bringing him out as well. Good, I need all the help I can get.

"Nik, Nik? Nik! Give me your hand!"

I finally broke his arm away and I could now analyze the cut. Just then, I heard the doors close back. "We're by the baseball field!"

I knew they were getting here as quickly as possible.

I took off my jacket, leaving me in my cami undershirt. I began to wrap up Nik's arm with the help of Alexis and Altair. We got my jacket secured around his arm and the blood flow was slowing down.

I sat down next to him on the ground, and I took his hand in mine. I interlaced my finger with his and I saw the tears down his face.

"I didn't mean to Stephanie.... I'm sorry."

"Be careful, okay? I love you too much."

"I love you too..."

And then came the sirens.

A/N: I'm terribly sorry that I haven't updated much, I've been so caught up in my schooling and I met this girl on the internet. We're making this cool fanfiction type thing through our messages, we are living the fanfiction!

And I know this chapter is a little sad, I was a little sad when I wrote it so I changed my original happy ending plan. It was going to start raining and they were going to kiss in the rain. Annnndddd... Then I got this.

BTW: Nik DID NOT cut himself, that was a misunderstanding with one of my friends. He just got cut on the fence, it was not self-harm.
