chapter 3 - graduation

"GOOD MORNING GRADUATES!" Jayden's mom yells from the doorframe of jayden's room. "it's time to wake up and take the day by storm!"
"mom please. 5 more minutes." jayden says while pushing the blankets over her head.
"NOO JAYDE! TODAY WE GET OUT DIPLOMAS AND ARE NO LONGER HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!! GET UP!" Jules says repeatedly hitting her with a pillow.
"gosh you're lucky i love you" jayden says before hitting her back with a pillow.
"oh you want a pillow fight?"
"let's go. let the war begin."
"hold on. can we continue this pillow fight after someone cooks breakfast and cleans up the dirty dishes that piled up in my sink last night?" says o.m.
hours later ....

graduation happened....

blah blah

now they're back home because i'm too lazy to write about graduation stuff. got their diploma blah blah...

"omg jules we have to celebrate officially being done with high school!!"
"well i heard that mattia is having a graduation party. you wanna stop by?"
"are his parents going to be there?"
"i highly doubt it."
"then bet, let me just straighten up my hair a little. i might find my future significant other at this party" jayde says teasingly.
"whatever" jules says rolling her eyes. "i'll invite tyler since you'll be looking for someone to date"
"don't invite him. he will ruin the night."
"how? he's literally my boyfriend. if i want to invite him, i will."
"ok but he isn't riding in my car."
"well then he can meet us there"
"okay"

"okayyy"
"stop. i'll go wait in the car."
jayden watched as jules left the bathroom. she watched as her dressed fit her body perfectly. the way she walked with such confidence. she hated that jules was straight. she hated that she always felt so jealous and protective of her whenever tyler was around.
"ok snap out of it jayden. jules is your best friend. you're not in love with her. it's just a phase. you're gonna meet someone amazing tonight who will change your life" (yes she's talking to herself)

...at the party...

"SOMEONE COME TAKE A PICTURE OF ME AND JULES!" drunken jayden yells
"here i'll do it" a pretty voice replies.
"ok so let's just do random poses"
jayden watches as jules raises her leg by her so she takes the chance to grab it. feeling her soft skin. then jules sticks out her tongue, making jayden do the same. except the only thing she thinks about while they stay in this position for a few seconds is the taste of jules. one little kiss.

immediately after this picture was taken. jayden kissed jules. but of course to everyone else, it was a drunken kiss caused by jayden. but to jayden... it was something completely different.
"julianna, what was that? why was jayden all up on you?" tyler says as he pulls jules through the crowd and on a random couch in mattias house.
"ty it was just a little peck. jayden is drunk and she probably won't even remember this tomorrow."
"well take a picture with me"
"oh ok" jules says while getting out her camera to take a selfie
"no, we need someone to take it"
"hahaha ok"
"mattie take a picture of me and my girl"

"gosh we look so perfect together. don't we jules?"
"so perfect indeed."
"JULES DRIVE ME HOME!" jayden screams while barging into the room.
"OKAY BUT STOP SCREAMING!!" jules replies back.
"NEVER! I LOVE SCREAMING!"
"ty i'll call you when i get this little monster home"
"ok baby" tyler replies before kissing jules
jayden pretends to fall asleep then wakes up a few seconds later "eww you guys are still kissing! hate it! hotter when we were kissing"
"haha ok time to go jayde"
on the ride home, jayden spent most of the time singing songs at a horrible tune.
"omg jules, you look so hot in this picture of us. we are so gorgeous together"
