author pov jayden woke up to jules already being gone. after the kiss, they both just cuddled until they eventually fell asleep on the couch. but why did she leave without saying goodbye?
2 days pass by.......
after not speaking for over 48 hours, jules texts jayden. even though they had such a strong bond. it took a kiss to push them apart. however, after receiving this text... jayden began to have high hopes for them.

jayden knew that jules felt something between them. even if she doesn't know it yet, the chemistry is there. even though jayden was sure about her feelings for jules. jules felt the opposite. she had never liked girls before. she didn't know what to do. but she knew that in order to figure out her feelings and emotions she had to end things with tyler. their relationship had run its course and they were both expecting different things out of the relationship. he wanted her and she wanted jayden. .... jules is on the way to jayden's house. she was on a mission, to talk her emotions out with jayden rather than run away from them. jules took out the key given to her by jayden years ago and finally put it in use. "JAYDE!" "oh hello there my little julie. i feel like i haven't seen you in forever" "is jayden here?" "wow no 'hello' haha. she should be upstairs but you know she likes to wonder" "im sorry! it's just... i have something really important to tell her" "oh well let me not stand in the way. and please be sure to tell jayden that dinner is almost ready" "of course" jules says while running up the stairs. when she gets to jayden's room door she freezes. she doesn't know whether to knock or just walk in. *knock knock* "ITS OPEN" jayden is laying on her bed scrolling on her phone when she sees jules slowly opening the door. "uh jules. what are you doing here?" jayden says getting up rather quickly from the bed. "didn't you say i can show up whenever i needed to?" "i mean yea. i want you here.... but we haven't really talked since... you know" "that's why i'm here jay" jayden takes a deep breath and begins walking toward jules. "hold up, let me go first. jules, i know it's so flipping obvious but i'm 996% sure that i'm in love with you. i can't even tell you when it started because for what feels like forever, i've wanted you. i want you today. i'll want you tomorrow. i want you and your crazy self forever. and i know that this is-" jules kissed her. "are you done talking jay?" "uh huh" "now my turn... i knew we had a special bond. i knew that tyler thought you had feelings for me. but i thought he was crazy" "he is crazy" "you are right.. but jay, i don't know how i feel about us yet. yes, i like you and the way i feel like myself around you. but i don't want to lose you as my best friend" "and you won't jules. i will always put our friendship first" "so then do you wanna try this out? being more than friends." "is this a joke? am i being punked? WHERE DID YOU HIDE THE CAMERAS?" "jayden. this is happening" then jayden kissed jules. except this time, she let one of her hands touch her and the other be my her face. this was the happiest jayden had felt in forever. she was kissing her best friend.
