This story is just like any other story. A girl in love with her best friend... except what she doesn't know is that her best friend feels the same way....
this is my first story so please comment any suggestions to help improve my next one :)
after movie night, jules knew she had to return home and make sure that caleb didn't somehow burn down the house. "jule come back to bed" "i can't jay, hayley texted me that caleb is not home and zero (their dog) is passed out in the kitchen" "oh CRAP! do you need me to go with you?" "jay.. you know how i feel about people coming over" "fine but i'm driving you" "okay" ... jayden threw on a random sweatshirt and sweatpants because she knew after dropping off jules, she would return to her bed and fall right back to sleep. while in the car, jayden could tell that jules was acting extremely agitated "jule, have you tried talking to your dad since you know..?" "nope" "maybe he could talk to caleb" "no" "okay. well, maybe i'll talk to caleb" "and say what? don't do drugs?" "yea that was pretty much the plan" "jayden.... not now. i'm so tired of having to take care of this man. he acts like he is the only one who lost his mother that day." jayden could tell that if the conversation continued, jules would have a full breakdown in the middle of her drive way. "well text me whenever you need me to pick you up mi amor" "please never say that again jay" "whaaat i'm trying to try new nicknames my little sugardrop" "i- uh goodbye" jules says while getting out of the car
she knew what was behind the front door. horror. what to do... she had no idea. but she had to face the circus "JULES! FINALLY! ZERO ISNT BREATHING! IM PRETTY SURE HES DEAD! WHO DO WE CALL! DO WE CALL 911!! I DONT KNOW" "hayley, calm down" "NO HE DID THIS ON PURPOSE" "where's caleb?" "DID YOU HEAD ME JULES?!!! THAT PERSON DID THIS ON PURPOSE!! HE WANTED ZERO GONE!!" "yes, i understand, where is he?" "I DONT CARE" "i'll be back" "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! WHERE DO YOU HAVE TO GO THATS SO IMPORTANT?! OUR BESTFRIEND DIED AND ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS NOT BEING HERE?! ARE YOU SERIOUS JULE? ...actually forget it, go back with your little boyfriend.. i will take care of zero just like I TAKE FU***** CARE OF EVERTHING ELSE IN THIS HOUSE" "HOLD THE PHONE LITTLE GIRL! BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE! a little girl. I HAVE RISKED MY FUTURE TO ENSURE THAT YOU EXCEL AND GET OUT OF THIS GOD FOR SAKEN PLACE. I WORKED ODD JOBS THROUGHOUT HIGH SCHOOL TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAD THE BEST BOOKS, SUPPLIES, AND CLOTHES THEN EVERYONE ELSE! ON ALL THOSE NIGHTS WHEN YOUR BROTHER WAS OUT DOING WHATEVER THE FU** HE DOES, I WAS HERE! SO PLEASE DON'T TELL ME THAT YOU TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING. JUST BECAUSE I AM TAKING THIS FINAL SUMMER AFTER I JUST GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL TO RELAX. OH SUE ME FOR WANTING TO RELAX! OH AND-" "what is all this screaming for?" "caleb, glad that you could bless us with your presence" jules says sarcastically "oh shut up annie" "please don't caleb" "annie, why are you here? i thought you were staying with william." "his name is tyler and we broke up. but i need to know what zero did that led to this" jules says hovering over the body "he saw mom die.... he just watched as she took her last breath and did nothing... an eye for an eye" "caleb..." "caleb NO" hayley says while tears began streaming down her face jules quickly ran over to hug hayley. zero was indeed their best friend. they got him when hayley was 7 and jules was 10, he grew up with them. but when their mom died... a little piece of all of them. jules tried to take care of zero but she failed. she knew that her happiness risked the lives of others. "okay since i obviously can't leave here without something going wrong, im just gonna stay" "oh how lovely..." "caleb please shutup. if i'm gonna be under the same roof as you, i'm gonna need you to change these little habits of yours" "okay annie, can i go upstairs now? i only came over because i forgot my favorite bong. have you guys seen it? it is blue and kind of looks like a dragon...actually nevermind i'll get it later when you leave" "i'm not leaving" "whatever annabelle" caleb says while leaving the house "well i guess it's time to start calling some people and cleaning" "i'm sorry jules" "hayley it's ok, you were right, over this past month i've been super distant. im sorry"

jules and hayley began cleaning the kitchen and living room so it could be somewhat decent. they planned to bury zero in the backyard then place a tree on top. "he will always be remembered"
