Karl pov

I woke up abruptly.

Breathing quickly and sweating.

Another nightmare.

Why does this keep happening? I think to myself.

I get out of the bed and look around a bit.

It's not my room.

It takes me a minutes to remember where I am and why.

But then the reason knocks on the door.

"Karl can I come in?"

"Yeah sure."

"Did I wake you up?"

"No."

"Ok are you doing ok? You seem very dazed and shaken up."

"Yeah I'm good."

"Karl you know you can tell me anything right?"

"Yeah I know."

"Ok let me know. Also I made lunch it's downstairs if you want."

"Thanks sap I'll be down in a minute."

He turns and walks out the door closing it behind him.

I get dressed in some presentable clothes and check the time.

Wednesday, August 10th

No older notifications.

I go down the stairs and enter the kitchen.

I see a sandwich on a plate on the counter.

I see SapNap sitting at the table eating his sandwich.

"Hey Karl I don't know what you like on your sandwich so I made peanut butter and jam also because those are like the only sandwich ingredients I have. If you don't like that or can't have that I can make something else."

"SapNap it's fine seriously it's great thank you."

I go join SapNap at the table and see that he's sitting there with an empty plate in front of him.

"If you want or need more food you can help yourself. I haven't had time to go shopping yet but I plan to do that today or tomorrow so you can come with if you'd like to pick out food that you like."

"Do you want to go now so neither of us forget?"

"That is a great idea let's go."

We get in the car and drive to the store.

We have small conversations here and there through out the ride with music playing in the background.

When we get to the store we get out of the car and walk in.

We get a basket and start walking around.

We start by getting bakery items and fruits and vegetables.

From the bakery SapNap gets bread I get bagels.

We move on to the fruits and vegetables.

I told SapNap I'd cook dinner tonight's if that was alright with him and he said it was.

I plan on making some sort of vegetable and spaghetti. I pick up potatoes and mushrooms. SapNap gets peaches apples oranges and bananas.

We move to the dairy section.

We get milk, yogurt, and some other things like butter and cheese that might be helpful.

We walk around placing more things in our basket.

When we're done we go checkout.

We get back to the car place all the bags in the trunk and drive home.
