Chapter Ten

Evan's POV

We arrive back at my house and head inside. Jared groans all the way up the stairs knowing that we've gone too far into this dare to turn back.

They head into the bathroom and I go into my room and patiently wait with Connor.

"So who do you think their soulmates will be?" Connor asks.

"Oh, I dunno hopefully someone nice." I quietly say.

"Do you think that you'll be one of their soulmates?" Connor asks while spinning around in my desk chair.

Little fun fact, I kind of like Jared, maybe. I'm not certain though. So there might be a small hope in me that Jared is mine.

"No," I reply to his question.

"We'll see about that," he says while smirking.

We sit in silence for a couple of minutes, listening in on Jared and Zoe's conversation. Not really sure what they're saying, but Jared is definitely not enjoying it.

I see Connor take one look at my hair and gasp.

Oh no, that means one of them really is my soulmate. I hear the bathroom door open and footsteps walk down the hall. My door opens and I see Jared and Zoe both with indigo hair.

Jared immediately starts to blush and turn away making barely audible noises. Zoe rushes over to me.

"I knew we were soulmates!" Zoe exclaims.

Connor facepalms.

"Oh yay?" I say.

I hear really loud noises coming from downstairs. Wait did I lock the door? The noises quickly come up the stairs and soon Alana is standing in the doorway.

"Anyone care to explain why my hair is indigo!?!"
