George was warm and content.... Content until the body next to him began to attempt to squirm out of his grip. He grunted pulling her closer to him and nuzzling his face into her neck kissing gently.
Lyra squeaked, and squirmed harder. "Georgeeee you've got to let me up. I have to pee."
"Pee later." He grumbled biting instead.
"I can't!" She laughed breaking free and walking over to her dresser in search for clothes.
"Lyyyrraaaa" He whined rolling over in the bed to glare at her. "I haven't been able to sleep next you in weeks and your hurrying out of bed first thing?"
"I've got a meeting this morning." She said pulling some pajama shorts on and a tee.
"No you don't." He accused.
"Com'n I'll let you cook me breakfast if Dad hasn't beaten you to it."
Grumbling dramatically the whole way George found his shirt and pulled it on before following her out into the hall and down the stairs. She looked him over once shaking her head disapprovingly.
"What?" He asked.
"Could you have at least tried to look like you didn't spend the night in bed with me?" She asked, a smile playing at the edge of her lips.
"No." George said smiling devilishly back before attempting to grab her and pull her to him. Lyra had seen this coming though and ducked before slipping the rest of the way down the stairs.
He followed watching her head for the bathroom and deciding to head for the kitchen instead. He didn't make it far past the doorway though before stopping in his tracks.
"Fred?" He asked trying to reel in his shock.
Fred lounged in a chair at the island, a coffee cup to his lips as if he owned the place.
"Good morning Georgie." Fred chirped setting his coffee cup down. "Glad to see you and Stone made up."
"What are you doing here?" George asked. "Everything okay with the shop?"
Fred waved his worry away taking another sip. "Relax George I'm not here for you."
"Fred you're here already." Came Lyras voice from behind as she slipped past George. "I'm sorry I'm running a bit behind this morning. Give me a moment and I'll have everything gathered."
"Not to worry Stone, I had a feeling you'd be occupied today." He said smirking knowingly at his brother.
"You're here for Lyra?" George accused.
"Yeah." Fred said guiltlessly "For our bi-weekly meeting."
"This is where you've been slinking off too Monday and Friday mornings? To see my Fiance behind my back?"
"Yup. Coffee?"
George shook his head in disbelief as Lyra appeared in the kitchen again from the living room and placed a crate of supplies down on the counter.
"that should do it for the rest of the week." She said brushing her hands clean and looking to George. "What's wrong love?"
George crossed his arms, but she could sense his mood and knew he was only playing. "What's wrong is you've been seeing my brother behind my back."
Lyra rolled her eyes. "Oh no you caught us. It's clear from the large crate of supplies and paperwork that we're having an affair."
Fred snorted "I don't know if thats the best joke to crack Stone. You do seem to love paperwork, and I am the superior twin."
