*three months after I said I'd tell Dick I was pregnant. (and didn't.")
I was starting to show.
"Dude lay off the food, your starting to get a little bit chubby." Lagoon Boy said one night. We were sitting in the cave and I was chowing down on some of Miss M's cookies. She looked up, smacked him on the side of the head and said,
"Oh no you didn't."
I was really mad at first so I yelled at him,
"You asshole! Never call a girl fat, that is like the worst thing you can say to a girl!" Then I started crying,
"I can't (sob) believe (sob) you (sob) said that!" I cried.
Everyone was looking at me at that point.
"Stupid hormones, stupid life sucking monster, I bet it's a boy, men just suck the life out of you." I grumbled after I finally stopped crying.
"What's a boy?" Aqualad asked.
"Oh my god are you pregnant?" Tigress exclaimed.
"Shit."
...
"Your going to be a teen mom?" Wondergirl pestered me.
"Ugh, fine yeah I'm pregnant, it's no big deal guys." I groaned.
"Who's the father?" Superboy asked.
"My boyfriend." I dead panned.
Aqualad had a weird look on his face, like he knew something.
Nightwing walked in,
"What are you guys talking about?" He asked.
"Batgirl's preggers. " Lagoon Boy informed him.
"I'm sorry what? " He questioned.
"I am with child Nightwing, as in like five months from now i'm going to be pushing a baby out of my lady parts, ah the joys of parent hood." I said sarcastically.
"Uh," He looked uncomfortable, "whose the father? "
I totally wanted to be like you are, hah that would be pretty funny, instead I just gave him the same answer I had given Superboy,
"My boyfriend. I'm not a tramp you know, people want to date me, I'm not undatable, men like me." I told him.
He scratched his head, "I wasn't implying that, I'm sorry."
Then he walked out. Aqualad gave me another look, something was definatly up.
...
"I overheard part of your conversation, I do not know if you were talking about who I thought you were talking about, but if you were I would advise you to tell him. And then talk to someone, because if you are indeed with who I think you are with there could be serious consequences." Aqualad approached me after everyone had left.
I looked at my watch, I had stayed late, or should I say early, it was almost time.
"I'm gonna let you in on a secret Aqualad, but you have to promise not to tell anyone." I sighed.
"I will not tell."
"Just, uh give it a minute."
A few seconds later it happened.
"This is what I really look like."
And I told him the whole story.
