"Xavier, Iroh!" I yelled for the fifth time today. "Shut up!"  They immediately began arguing again.

"Why would I take your clothes?" Xavier scowled. "They wouldn't even fit me?"

"BeCaUsE YoU ArE ReLaTed To ClaIrE And ShE WanTed It!" Iroh almost shouted.

"Iroh!" I yelled, Finally able to get between them. "If you think Claire stole your clothes, go next door and ASK HER. Don't blame Xavier!" I turned to Xavier as Iroh left. "Give me his jumper." I said, boredly. This was the sixth time in the last two days he'd tried to throw out Iroh's fave jumper.  Xavier rolled his eyes and pulled it out from under his own.

"Thank you. Ryella? Please put this on the line so Iroh won't know." I asked the nearest girl.

"Alright." She took the jumper.

"WITHOUT MAGIC!" I yelled as she left the room.

"Why'd you say that? Aren't you supposed to be encouraging the use of magic?" Xavier asked as I followed him into the kitchen.

"No. They aren't aloud to use it outside a controlled environment until they have passed the Mage training." I scowled slightly. (TBH, having an almost 19 year old depending on you, when you yourself are barely 17 is aggravating as the word MOIST.  Let me tell you, it is totally annoying)

"Anyway." I added. "This Is a DORM house. not a MAGIC house." I looked at him to see he was eating my last apple. "Seriously?"

"Yup" He said through his mouthful.

I rolled my eyes and began cooking lunch. I liked cooking so it saved the other girls (+ the new boys) from doing it.

"Pass me the knife." I said as i carried the t'tatoes over to the sink to skin and wash them.

"Uh. I'm not giving you a knife." Xavier said, a smirk growing on his lips.

"Well, considering I'm the Coven leader and the Housekeeper. I am actually more responsible than you." I stated as turned to face him. "But by all means, go ahead and peel and wash those." I went back across the kitchen as Iroh stormed back in.

"Claire doesn't have it." He seethed.

"Well, have you checked the washing then?" I asked my best friend.

He grunted in a VERY un-Iroh-y way and left again.

"How come you always know what to do?" Xavier asked as he peeled the t'tatoes.

"Well. I just keep calm. Most of the time." I sighed. "You know you are really annoying right?" I looked at him.

He turned and brandished the knife at me. "Yeah. It's part of my 'I-now-have-to-live-with-my-sisters-best-friend-and-now-she-hates-me' annoying era."

"I don't hate you..." I said slowly. "Your just really, really annoying."

"Ok. I can Live with that." He grinned.

I rolled my eyes and we continued cooking.

~*a few hours later*~

"Iroh stop it!" I yelled desperately. They had gotten worse. Iroh hated Xavier, claiming he ruined his entire aura by moving in. I could almost agree, he was incredibly annoying really.

"I WiLl NevER StOp!" Iroh screeched as he pulled Xavier's things off his shelves and threw them on the floor like a five year old.

"Iroh!" I yelled again, trying not to get pelted by books and stuffed toys?

"I HaTe HiM!" Iroh seethed as he ripped a poster down. "He RuInEd My LiFE."

"Iroh, he's been here for less than 48 hours!" I called over his incessant screeching.

Iroh deliberately threw a framed photo at me and shouted: "He HaS TaKeN OvER mY LiFE and TuRned It InTo a FrEAk SHoW!"

"What?" I turned to look accusingly at Xavier. Luckily my girls had all gone out so they weren't witnessing the temper tantrum of their favorite gay.

Xavier shrugged. "I may have called him a few names."

"A few?" I raised my eyebrows, trying to use my 'house mum' vibes to compel him to tell me the truth.

"Uh, quite a few." Xavier chuckled, looking at my best friend with a amused smile.

I glared at him and shoved him out of the room. "Go away while I calm him down."

The moment the door was shut I turned to Iroh and put my hands on my hips.

"Iroh James Toms." I snapped. He froze, I never used his full name unless I was sincerely pissed.

"Yes.." he whispered.

"Stop it. Right now. I am very disappointed in your behaviour. Clean up." He didn't move but I could see tears in his eyes. "Now." I said quietly.

Iroh bent down and began sorting things into piles.

I watched my best friend. "Tell me what really happened. Was he teasing you, or just being plain rude?" I prompted.

Iroh sniffed before saying: "I don't like him. He was rude and inconsiderate of my feelings. He told me being gay was weird and I could reproduce naturally. And then he started to criticise my fashion choices" Here he paused to sniff and wipe away his tears before looking at me definitely. "He told me you didn't like me and you only tolerated me."

I sat there contemplating. Xavier had just been disgustingly rude to my best friend in the entire world. And then had the audacity to laugh at him.

I stood up. "Iroh, I am still disappointed in you but now for a different reason." I made my way across to him, before pulling him into a hug. "I now understand why you acted as you did."

"But it was still unacceptable." Iroh finished before I could continue.

"Only a little bit. I will now however go and beat the living daylights out of Xavier." I said, calmly and left the room. A little way down the corridor Xavier was standing on the home phone, laughing to someone.

I went up to the phone and pressed down the switch, ending his call.

"Xavier come with me." I said quietly.

He slammed the phone down and stalked after me.

"Xavier. why did you lie to me?" I asked as we came into my office. (as head of our Coven, I got my own, whereas everyone else had to share)

"I didn't-"

"Don't lie to me. I know, remember, I'm training to be a witch, boy. I KNOW when you are lying." I snapped, angrily. All my emotions were boiling my brain up into a protective frenzie. "I KNOW you said terrible and incorrigible things to Iroh. In case you forgot He's my best friend." I shouted, the last bit to get it across.

Xavier watched me for a second. "Sorry. I was just teasing him. I didn't know he'd take it to heart. I-" He stopped. "I am so sorry."

"Really?" I asked, skeptically. "You're 'Sorry'. Well how are you going to make it up to him."

"What?"

"How, are you going to make it up to him?" I asked more stearnly than I'd intentioned but there you go.

"I- I Don't know." He stammerd. "I don't know. I don't think he likes me any more."

"Well, there's your start. Make him like you again." I glared at him as there was a knock on my door.

"COme in." I called.

Ryella came in. "Your Dads are here." She said.

"Oh."
